It is not, just something that happens that is appreciated, but their game model is different so it works...

the recent Attack Wing waves have quite a few "reprinted" ships from prior waves.

Some have new upgrades, some have very similar upgrades to the prior waves.

I concede that the smaller volume of product that FFG has issued versus the thousands of 'clix that have been released over a much longer period of time makes the errata/PDF issue pretty much apples to handguns. So it's not fair to make a direct comparison to the playtesting and other support questions.

It's nice to not have to purchase blind product to play a game, for a change.

Apparently one of those things is me owning an intact U.S.S. Sutherland.

I broke the one that came with the Fleet Captains game while trying to put it back in the box (I was trying to put it in the wrong slot.)
I figured that since the HeroClix ships are the exact same aside from the dial, I'd just get one of those and swap the dial. I acquired one from Harpua, and when I was going to make the swap, I got it out, walked down the hall, and dropped it, breaking it into 3 pieces.

I was placing an order from coolstuffinc the other day and was a few bucks away from getting free shipping, so I figured I'd add a Sutherland onto the order and try one more time. My package arrived the other day, and the Sutherland was poorly packed, and underneath heavier items, so it unsurprisingly arrived broken.

I emailed CSI about it, but at this point I'm pretty much resigned to not having an intact ship.

The only thing I got from that story is that vlad is notorious for putting it in the wrong slot.

One time = notorious? By that logic, pizzaburger is notorious for beating me at tabletop games.

My Halloween party is tonight. One of the party games is an old fashion BB gun shooter. I have a bunch of extra Sutherlands, so I'm seeing if people can hit them from 20 feet.

I guess that is one way to have fun gaming.

I don't know if anyone has seen it but in GTM#200 we see a familiar face, mouth agape, for the impending large amount of creamy whiteness he is about to imbibe upon.

Finally got a chance to ride my bike today. On my way home there was a big, beautiful fluffy dog being walked by someone who looked like Harpua but had all silvery hair. I said good morning and then from the response I realized that it was a woman walking the dog.

This may be the first doppelgänger for me found among this group.

Among the con going people we have found several doppelgänger for people, but there is always a twist. Like, there is Latino variant of Vlad3theimpaler as well as both a female and an African American variant of DKjedi. I found a female nbperp once.

So...was my doppelgänger hot?
