Oh, make no mistake about the overly suspicious presence of so many mainstream Nintendo games when the IDs of all the people I know (some who have not come forward in the thread) are all not so mainstream (I myself am from a "cult classic"). I take the theme as games "worth playing" because you should, but probably have not.
