Picked up a Thor, Frog of Thunder and a SR Valkyrie this weekend. Damn, I want to use the frog for Wednesday's cheese tournament but I can't think of anything cheesy featuring the frog...

from what I have heard, they are repaints of the SR's...so the opposite of what HoT was (they were redo's of the generics/commons...)

The sculpts from BatB and the GL starter are looking pretty darn good so far. That GL sculpt sure beats the heck out of the Crisis version.

I think that's great. It is somewhat faster than regular in-hand sculpting which gives the sculptor a little more time to devote to each sculpt. Man, I can't wait to see the rest of the starter figs. I'm totally stoked for any and all Blackest Night figs...

Has anyone heard anything about retirement returning?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found my answer. The next time I'm scheduling events at my venue, I think I'll start throwing in some restricted scenarios into the tournament mix...

I don't think we worry about retirement when we play...I use Cable so CoyoteJack will just swarm him with his team as he just hates the character...my tie up piece :D

I usually try to quickly KO any Gambits on the board. I really dislike the character but can't really pin down why.
