You can probably try and enter it to seal it with an Elder Sign on your next turn if someone gets one to you. And yes, I say go for it, use a clue and try for the Ally, it's worth it!

1. Ash-Charles-Graveyard- DONE!
Pass a Luck (-2) check to find a valuable clue within your tombstone rubbings. Gain 2 Clue tokens and you may move to any location or street area in Arkham. If you move to a location, immediately have an encounter there.
Ash has a luck score of 3, -2, so 1 die rolled=

Ash goes to the Science Building, picking up the clue token.
Science Building
As you enter the Department of Alchemy, a professor looks up in horror. He grabs an ancient artifact from a locked drawer in his desk, and holds it up before your face, chanting and making symbolic motions with them. If you are Cursed, discard the Curse. If you are not Cursed, you are now Blessed.
Ash discards his Curse.
2. Darrell - Jack - Hibb's Roadhouse- DONE!
"So, what's your story, friend?" A smiling man inquires about your adventures over a glass of gin. You tell him your story. If you spend 3 Clue tokens, he introduces himself as Ryan Dean, and asks to join you. Take his Ally Card. If it's not available, he gives you some useful items instead. Draw 2 Common Items.

Joey "the Rat" Vigil slips into an empty chair at your table and whispers, "Psssst! Wanna buy something?" Look at the top 3 cards of the Common Item deck. You may purchase any or all of them for $1 above list price. "Hey, I've got overhead!" the Rat explains.
Darrel buys a Motorcycle from Joey, and pays $5 for it.
3. Harvey Walters - Pax - St. Mary's Hospital- DONE!
Pax, do you want to spend $2 to fully heal, heal by one point for free, or take an encounter card?
Pax pays the $2. He is now back at 3 Stamina
4. Vincent Lee - Smudge - Woods- DONE!
A gate and a monster appear!
A gate to The Dreamlands is now open at Woods. Vincent Lee is drawn through the gate, and is now delayed in The Dreamlands. A High Priest appears at the gate.
5. Michael McGlen - Wade - Merchant District - DONE!
No Encounters in the street.
6. Sister Mary - Kalel - The Witch House
"Excuse me, stranger, but have you ever seen this symbol before?" A man standing near the house holds up an occult symbol. Make a Lore (-1) check. If you pass, the man introduces himself as Thomas F. Malone, a police detective visiting Arkham on a case. He's impressed with you and offers to join you. Take his Ally Card. If it's not available, he tells you some valuable information instead. Gain 2 Clue tokens. If you fail, nothing happens.
Kalel, you are currently at 1 Lore, which means with the -1 check, you would automatically fail. If you'd like, you could spend a clue token to roll one die.
Kalel spends the clue token, and rolls a die.
2, fail.
7. Amanda Sharpe - Melkhor - The Unnamable
Amanda spends her Elder Sign. She takes one stamina and one sanity damage. Elder Sign goes to the box, out of the game.
The gate to Yuggoth closes, and is sealed permanently. An Elder Sign appears at the Unnamable. Gates cannot open here anymore. Amanda receives the Yuggoth Gate Trophy.
In addition, the Warlock and 3 Byakhees are banished, as they are tied to the gate. They go back to the monster cup.
And, in a final slap to the face to Yoggy, his sole doom track marker is removed.
8. Bob Jenkins - Rokk - Black Cave
You are in a maze of twisty passages, all alike. Pass a Lore (-2) check or become lost. If you fail, lose 1 Stamina and stay here next turn.
With your current Lore of 1, you're going to automatically fail at -1. You can spend a clue token to give yourself a roll, however. Up to you, Rokk.

I expected as much from the Black Cave. I'll just take the Stamina - and the clue token that was here though - and check out the Black Cave next turn as well.

Bright side: Rokk is gonna put that Elder sign to good use.
Not so Bright side: Well....keep reading...
1. A gate opens at the Black Cave, to Another Dimension (Another Dimension, Another Dimension). Rokk is sucked through, and is now delayed in Another Dimension 1.
2. Yoggy gets another Doom marker. He's now up to 1. Heeee's sleeeepy.
3. Two monsters appear at the gate. A Zombie, and a Vampire.
4. No new clue token.
5. Movement: The Fire Vampire gets to move. He's a flyer, and sees Mikey in the street ahead of him. He moves right for him. Mikey will have to deal with him during the Movement phase, or someone else will.
6. Disturbing the Dead - Rumor (For you newbies: RUMORS SUCK)
Activity is taking place at the Rivertown Streets.
Ongoing: Roll a die at the end of every Mythos Phase while this card is in play (beginning the turn after it entered play). On a 1 or 2, increase the terror level by 1.
Pass: If a single player discards 2 gate trophies during the Arkham Encounter Phase while in the Rivertown Streets, return this card to the box. Each player draws 1 Spell
Fail: If the terror level reaches 10, return this card to the box. Every investigator is Cursed.

Jack is now given the first player marker. Turn order is now as follows:

1. Fluteageddon really isn't necessary anymore. Those two dimensional shamblers are going to get banished when Rokk's done with that gate. The only thing Jack would really be killing would be that Elder Thing, and that's not worth using the flute alone for.
2. Melk and Pax need to trade that Elder Sign. Melk already has a gate trophy. If he can go get another, he can get rid of the rumor.
3. On the other hand, we might finish the game before the rumor has a chance to really do any damage.
