Care bear clix! They all share a trait called "Care Bear Stare!" that allows you to give a group of them an action to use mind control. The Mind Control lasts for a number of turns equal to the number of care bears you used to make the attack!
Sorry I did not get in on the discussion way back...
I know the decision has already been made, but I just want to let you know which way I will be going with anything useful from these mini-sets...
Secondary Market.
For the same reason I did not pick up the Aliens or Predator sets, and did not buy much IndyClix until they were on sale by quite a bit, most stuff that cannot make a full set doesn't intrigue me that much. I doubt I could be convinced to preorder, and then once the dials and whatnot were out there I could decide if any were worthwhile to add to my collection...
It is too bad that you could not collect a variety of smaller licenses/groups into one set though... the more stuff in a set, the more chance there would be that I would want at least something from it.
Just my thoughts. Good luck with your attempt though and thanks for reading!

You say something like this and you think it's cute but awesome 80's ideas like this have me wasting 20 hours working on a Care-A-Lot map which even now I'm designing in my mind.

This is the first post on HCRealms that has caused me to want to grab a pitchfork and lead an angry mob.

The care bears, honestly, deeply disturb me. Here we have a group of "heroes" whose power is, essentially, to enforce conformity on other people. Which they do. Regularly.
Warping other people's personalities just seems dubious at best.
But, hey, I tend to be cynical at the best of times. Don't let me rain on your parade. Have fun!
So here is where we landed based on this thread. Thanks. I realize not everyone will be happy, in the end though this is the only way to bring you small set content (20 figs) in at a reasonable price.
There may be repeats between bricks but not within bricks.
The figures are VERY nice quality (clear effects, no static poses)- think Blackest Night but more action poses.
If you buy 1 brick you'll have a good amount of the set. If you buy 2 bricks you'll have most of the set and figures to trade for missing pieces.
Pictures coming soon (in a few weeks)
is this the street fighter clixs or something else
as i can see getting a 60 figure set out of street fighter unless it is broken up in series but if it is something else please be TMNT
I hope for turtles in heroclixs as i was hoping for voltron in Monsterpocalypse i want to play with the toys of my youth like many 25-35 year olds
We are looking at a few properties that are VERY compelling yet, the depth of characters just doesn't lend itself to a full blown 50+ figure set. So my question to you all is -
How do you feel about 6-18 figure sets being sold as?
1 Figure booster @ $3 or $4
2 Figure booster @ $6 or $7
The boosters would be blind.
Sound nice... one question: Will I be able to buy them in WhSmiths?
Heroclix named Katana are surprisingly easy to decapitate...
There are many I'd consider as worthy, but using the Blackest Night starter as a comparison makes me hesitant. I really think the only useful things about that starter were Scarecrow and the fact that it was a starter.
I think most of us would test out single-figure boosters if we had a vague idea about what was in them, though.
