During his ban, I kinda missed him. This place was way to nice and pleasant. It needs the angst and up roar to keep it interesting... But now that I think about it, I could go back to missing him....

I use to get a kick out of him. It seems like he's more over the top than ever and I really don't get it. I think I feel bad for him to be honest. I think something traumatic happened in his life. You don't act the way he is acting without something seriously wrong happening to you. (Depression, Stress, etc.)

I suspected that was his point without reading it, but if in fact it is, isn't that exceptionally nonsensical coming from him given his politics? I guess that's starting to get into no-no territory, but it's strikingly wrong.

See I feel sorry for all the "NOOBs" he plays on a regular basis. If he's half as bad in person as he is online, and I had to play him, I'm pretty just I'd be banned from a couple venues.....

Totally agree with the above post. Being mad at a business for wanting money is like being mad at a lion for wanting to catch an antelope. What the heck do you expect it to do?
Honestly, I don't think even VGA believes most of the stuff that VGA says. I think it's really just a fake personality because he likes getting a rise out of people.

I'm not exactly happy that they are beating us across the face with all the product and the many various ways to get us to buy it so I give them a wag of my finger, but it appears that it's going to be a sucessful business venture. To that, I give them a tip of my hat.

The thing that bothers me the most (but not enought to get silly about it) is that this is completely overshadowing the fact that we get Galactic Guardians within 48 hours. It's sad that people up and stop talking about sets because they've already moved on before the set comes out.

Unless cows guard bridges and need to be killed with acid- or fire-based weapons, I think he's confused about what a cow actually is.

Incidentally, I love VGA (in a manner of speaking). I can't think of anyone else I've ever encountered on the 'Realms where you can say, "Okay, that guy? He's an utter clown. Seriously. Anything he says, it's the equivalent of wetting himself in public. Zero redeeming qualities, and he embarasses himself so thoroughly that you *almost* feel sorry for him, until you remember how utterly repugnant he is." You can say that, and *no one* - not even VGA himself - will attempt to refute the statement. Everyone knows what a complete waste of space he is. While I do eagerly look forward to his next banning (with the hopes that this one will actually stick), I wonder what shape it will take. Will he go on another charmingly homophobic rant against the moderators? Or will it be a less spectacular slow burn of reported posts in GD?

I don't think politics has anything to do with it. A turd is a turd. You can try to polish it all you want, but in the end, it's still made of brown-matter.

Someday I'd love to make a trip to his venue and crush him. Then whenever he would post, I could post after him and counter any point he ever makes by citing how poorly he played.

I almost wonder if that is the case. People can get so wound up into their online persona, they forget who they really are when posting. But the only people that would get so caught up in an online persona are the ones who have a major void in their life.

Agreed. I'm not going to say that "too much product will kill Heroclix," but there is something to be said about competing with yourself with your own product. A prime example is the situation we are currently entering. I know of people who are skipping GG to get the Avengers Movie clix. If there was a larger gap between them (even a few more weeks) they'd get both, but since they are so close, they are completely skipping GG. It seems to water down the excitement of a given release when we have another one right around the corner. I'm also not a fan of the sculpt-reusage, but that is another discussion.

I just hope that everybody that is complaining about VGA is doing what I've been doing and reporting him every chance that he gives me to do so instead of just coming here or going anywhere else to complain about him. Be pro-active in the banning. We can make it happen.

And because I'm bored of this now... As with every set, I'll volunteer this: what's your dream pull for Galactic Guardians sealed? Assume build total is whatever your venue is playing and don't factor monetary value into your wish list, just playability on a sealed team.

Here's the prob I have with the Avenger's movie stuff. I'm so liking some of the dials. That I've pretty much not even paid attention to GG in the last 2 weeks. So I have a feeling I'm just gonna wing it at both venues Tomorrow night.

I agree completely. I dislike that all of this product is coming out on top of itself, but if it makes for a successful business, then good for Wizkids.

Avengers is an extremely marketable brand right now, and they have to strike while the iron is hot. And it is nice to see them putting product into the big box stores and hopefully expanding their player base.

Did the Ogres just gain a new purpose on the realms? I.e. hunt down and report as many posts as possible with the end goal being a perm-ban.
