I technically kept 8, however ended up with 7. They were big and feisty, and even after they were put on the stringer (https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/bass...-fish-stringer) they didn't stay still. One actually unlatched the hasp and got away. After that, we started gutting them immediately, and then putting them on the stringer.

There were a few others that I caught and released.

Looks like stringers have not changed over the years. What type of fish did you keep?

PowerBait did best. Worms, meh. I caught 2 on spinners; no one else did.

On the daily, a brown trout gets away from me.

Ha ha powerbait is still around? I hated that stuff sometimes because it could fall off the hook so easily. There were many fishermen who thought a certain color was better.
