I just watch it cycle through Nico, MODOK, and Karolina and eventually I get a Sub-Mariner and go “Oh yeah, they did make him, didn’t they?”
I let him pass by, of course, but at least it breaks things up a bit.

Beyond that I just wait for stuff I need/want.
Like, if Polaris was in there, I would snatch her up in a heartbeat. At this point, I am pretty sure that she must not be in the spicy rotation.

I have bitten on Juggernaut and Thanos a couple of times as I regularly use them.
Beyond that I once bit on Red Guardian when he was under 13 for me. Just the other day I went after Sabretooth simply because he is mildly useful in a niche way and I kinda felt like going for *something*.
But yeah, I am just sitting here on around 220 tokens watching and wagering with myself about whether or not I will see modok, Nico, or Karolina next.

She is, I've gotten her at least once.

I go for the "meta" pieces for me; Grocket, Polaris, Sabretooth, Karnak.

Then I go for toons that are undercovered if there are any. There are so many 4*s out there that it is unlikely I will get one that I want in a week's time.

When I get to your point where everyone is champed I plan on doing the same as you and going for the LL/Shards reward. A lot of tracking.

The tracking is more effort than I want to give it. I see the value. I am just not overly concerned.

Bottom line for me is that I just go for what I consider to he useful at any given time

Currently what is useful to me is defined as the 4*s I use regularly which are not currently already maxed plus any below 13 covers. Beyond that i suppose that there is an occasional whim pull, like Sabretooth.

That limits me to Juggernaut, Chavez, Thanos, and Polaris.
There are a few others, like Karnak, who I would probably get if they popped up.

I got the juggernault 3 or 4 stars. Is a beast!!

I sold my 50 upgraded 1 star ironman and I got the 2 star Irin Man and he suck!

For some reason I can't hit the lottery but I can make good pulls, this went for clix, MTG, and now MPQ. Pulled P5 Cyclops from his store. at 1:250 odds seems like a long shot.

(Yes I know the odds of pulling a specific 4* toon in X store are greater, even greater if you want a specific color. Don't be a buzzzkill :P )

There is no tracking. Part of my morning routine is to play DDQ. I use Gritty for the required character (unless I'm below a million Whale points, then I use D3adpool and SWitch) and then for the unlocked node I just add in Tacopool. Once I finish that match, I go to tokens, scroll down to see who is in the Spicy vault, and then check my roster.

So, 3* Iron Man is known as Battery Man. You want 5 yellow and his red/blue are irrelevant. As you get into 3* land, you will learn to love him as a 6-cost power bestows a bounty of red/blue/green AP. (and he is in the Taco Sweet vault right now, you can earn another cover for him in tomorrow's DDQ or go for him in the vault - with tokens, not gold)

Yes, you want to get 5 yellow covers but I also find that having 5 red and 3 blue is the "best combination". Sometimes that red can outright KO a character if needed in a pinch.

Hit a self-imposed milestone.

I had ten 4*s that I needed to get to 10 saved covers so I could have enough rewards to get to the 5* cover, which would give me that first 5* cover. I am in no hurry to champ these 4*s to get these 5*s but they are there so I could champ them and get the 5* that I need for required PVE when that time comes.

Then I got stuck, who do I focus on next to get that 5* cover?
Shuri --> Okoye
Emma --> Kitty
Scorpion --> Carnage
Throg --> BRB
Valkyrie --> Thor
Cyclops --> Cable

I went for Throg, because BRB is my favorite right now. Gonna need 10 covers for Throg and it's going to be a grind. Next is probably Shuri or Emma or whoever will feed Apocalypse when they announce that.

Yes, she is the glue on several different team combos.
