Sorry I wasn't clear before...That's what I meant by not from mythology...I'm talking about the comic miniseries where he did a reality show for TV...
Well, with Herc's distorting of tales of his previous 12 labors, I wasn't sure if you meant his versions of the original labors or the new ones he did for a reality TV series. I hate reality shows, but that would be one I might just watch.
That said;
Hera came up with the last 4 of his new labors.
The very last labor was for him to descend into Hades, as he'd done before, but instead of bringing back a three-headed dog, he had to bring back a flower from the hair of his beloved first wife, Megaera.
I knew he was a drug addict, but is he an alcoholic too? I wasn't aware.
Though I readily admit his performance in Iron Man changed my mind about his acting skills. (My opinion of Gwneth Paltrow remains the same.)
Pretty sure he's was an alcoholic too. I've always been a fan/liked RD Jr's acting (though I remember thinking RD Jr. playing an arrogant alcoholic womanzier - does he really have act much to play this part?) - nice to see the Iron Man has brought his career back...looking forward to Holmes and IM2.
As for Gweneth - like many Hollywood actresses now-a-days she needs to mostly stand there and look pretty (then again...that's a lot of women throughout the history of Hollywood...I mean Marilyn Monroe was not exactly a stellar actress with her acting skills also...but she made a lot of fun movies and did great in the roles she had).

Nice one JTR (though I was looking for the flower being the sign of her forgiveness...but I'm not that "a" retentive...and you obviously knew the answer)...the thread is yours again bud.
As a side note...I've never been a fan of Hercules (Thor and Beta Ray Bill all the way)...but that Hercules LS was REALLY good...actually made him interesting, if you haven't read it, take a look.

Personally I've never found Ms. Paltrow very attractive. I realize I'm in the minority there, but that's my opinion. And as far as acting skills go, Shakespeare in Love was a fluke; she hasn't turned in a decent performance since. A lot of the bad movies she's made could be blamed on an inability to pick good scripts, but she was even bad in Proof. I saw the play, and Proof is not a bad script. If you can turn in a bad performance in Proof, the problem is you.

I'm in that minority. She's not that great to look at.
As for her acting... She has a pedigree for acting, but she's not really that much of an actress herself.

What pedigree? Her dad was an actor? Mine was an electrician but I can't follow a circuit board.

That's what I'm saying.
Her father (Bruce Paltrow) and Mother (Blythe Danner) both have had actting careers.
My father did woodworking. I can't cut a straight line if my life depended on it. But in her case, cause her parents could act, she assumes she can act.
She also thinks she's a scientist. She says Shampoo can give you cancer.

It probably can, if you drink it. Or maybe if you shampoo your hair often enough to absorb that much through the scalp; say, 20 times a day, every day, for ten years. Which she might do, for all I know.
I can't remember the name of this indie flick she made with Alan Cummings and Jennifer Beals but her hair was long and very full-bodied in that film, think Blair from The Facts of Life. I swear to God, she looked like a Horrorclix Skeletal Maiden.
Name an enemy of Iron Man who thought he was the reincarnated Pharoah Amenemhet III (of the 11th Dynasty of Egypt).
I believe you refer to Infinitus, from Marvel Team-Up #29. If so, I take your wording to task. He did not actually believe he was a reincarnated pharoah; that was a cover story he used to mask his true intent. (The Human Torch, of all people, spotted the error when he listed the wrong dynasty, stating that a true reincarnation wouldn't make that mistake, nor would a true lunatic as those tend to be sticklers for detail.)

All in all, not one of the best MTU issues.
Well, he pretended to think he was that Pharoah.
Anyhow, I knew you'd get it. Even if it wasn't one of Ironman's shinging moments in history.
The thread is yours, Pharoah Rama CuCr-sus The First.
When the Swordsman reformed and re-applied for membership in the Avengers, which member observed him during his probationary period and later recommended him for full membership?
Geez, it's been about ten years since I read that span of The Avengers, but I'll take a wild guess and say the Vision. Although my first inclination would be to say Hawkeye (given his past with Swordy) or Cap (given that, well, he's Cap), if I remember correctly, both of them were kind of in and out of the lineup during that span, while I think the Vision was in on just about all of the team's missions then.
