It seemed like a much simpler idea than my original plan of exploiting Wart's amphibious heritage and need to maintain a certain level of body moisture.

Or since we know he can be kicked, we could kick him down the bottomless hole. But seeing as how it is bottomless, he wouldn't die until he starved to death, which would leave us unable to free Mario and Luigi for a significant amount of time. And I want his bling. Dibs on his bling.

I don't know if they count Mushrooms as vegetables. I mean, it's a fungus, not a plant. It's got a similar texture. And we have to note the magical properties of the 1-up shroom.

(Otherwise, I'd be all for this plan to see if it works).

Meanwhile, we also have the Mario bros to worry about. We could try to free Bowser and have him fight them, but then we've just freed Bowser. And who knows if the Koopa Kommunists will remain loyal to Wade, or if Bowser will double cross us. Hopefully we can stall the Mario Bros long enough to defeat Wart. If we can free the Bros while leaving Bowser imprisoned, that seems like the optimal plan, seeing as how they could remain his jailers, whilst we continue on our quest.

Whilst JK seems if the mushroom will be fatal (or at least debilitating) to Wart, I think I'm going to try to throw the key at Luigi's head. All keys in Mario Bros are huge, so this should help keep him off Wade, and Wade should be able to catch the key and use it on the cage. (body)

I know I said we may not want to free Bowser, but I'm going to leave that up to Wade. The part I'm worried about is getting the key to him and bouncing it off Luigi's head.
