After years of living in the shadows of various silly stand-up routines, you guys have finally had enough and decided to fight back!

charlesx, you are Barry Edward Lambert, better known as Professor Bedlam from My Super Ex-Girlfriend. With years of experience as a super-villain, you are the right man to lead this enterprise. You have the final authority to decide what actions your Mafia will take, and are also responsible to submit the actions in a timely manner in the designated thread.
Second chance: You are a skilled manipulator and have managed to fool everyone into thinking you have abandoned your wicked ways. You cop as Town, and can survive one nightkill. This power ceases to function if you perform the nightkill yourself. The loss is permanent.
Criminal genius: You are a brilliant inventor. You can pretty much give yourself any power at night... but there are a few limitations:
You cannot invent a power someone else in your Mafia is using that night.
You can only make a given power once for the duration of the game. (Please don't try to abuse this rule – I'll be the judge of when this rule is violated).
The more players the power could affect, the greater the chance of failure. Single-target powers are almost guaranteed to succeed, a power that would affect all or most players is almost guaranteed to fail.
You may let one of your henchmen use the power you invented instead of their regular action. Yes, this means you can invent special kill powers for your Mafia to use... But remember your other power.

Fantastic makeup – when another player targets you, there is a chance they will be so stunned by your appearance that they will not be able to complete their action. Not everyone is equally sensitive to this effect though, and it does tend to wear off over time.

You actually steal all your inventions, and you have come here to get some new stuff to work with. At night, you may target another player and find out what their power is. The following night, you will use this power on your target, while simultaneously learning their power (so on night 1 you will learn the power of player A. On night 2 you will use player A's power on player B, and learn player B's power). Should your action fail, you will keep the power you were going to use that night until it is successfully used – you need to field test the inventions, after all.
In order to keep up appearances, you are not allowed to reveal the results of your power copping. If you reveal where you got a certain power, you will be forced to leave the game in disgrace (i.e. modkilled).
Win condition: You win when you have successfully copied the powers of every living player, or if you are alive at the end of the game.

You have the ability to make people's wishes come true... but there may be a price attached that makes them realize the truth of the old saying “careful what you wish for...”.
During the day, you may PM me the name of another player. That player will be granted a second action that night. Because this is a day power, it ignores most forms of misdirection and blocking. If you wish, you may do one of the following during the night: Dictate who the player will target with their second action or give the player a posting restriction of your choice (nothing too fancy though...). If you choose to do neither of these things, you can instead control the player's vote during the following day phase – just PM me to say who you want the player to vote for.

Yeah, my jaw dropped when the Mafia wanted to target Truffle a second time... And then a third. To top it all off, charles couldn't understand why his teammates kept dying when he was trying to keep them safe with his inventions. And I couldn't explain why either...
Yeah, I did consider modkilling him (which is what happened to JKL, by the way), but his participation was juust over the minimum level to earn him the benefit of the doubt. He just picked poor targets most of the time. Except the last night when he actually RTed Raven... And then got lynched before he could share the results.

Fortunately for you none of those happened though.

It was very fortunate for me to have two powers. One got the heat off of me by bringing a townie back, and made it seem like I was a useless lump from now on. Once I brought CJ back, he was the only one I could trust, so I just protected him every night! I figured with any luck, he was a Doctor Doctor, too, and if worse came to worst we could just protect each other. I forgot he could be insane! :D
