This is one of those weeks where it already feels as if it should be Thursday.

I already have some plans lined up for next Sunday, having gotten an invitation to go see Super 8 early in the day, followed by a cook-out and some games.

Presumably we'll see Dirk Anger in clix form tomorrow. Part of me is sincerely interested in seeing how he's handled. Part of me just wants it to be over with. Both parts hope they've made him a Rare rather than a Super Rare -- the same thing I wish they'd done with Squirrel Girl.

Boner's a completely legitimate word. When you start throwing 's in it, I think it may get a bit sketchy though.

I was actually for realsies in a band called Narcoleptic Robot. We played a total of 1 gig. We were alright, but I would have much better liked being in a different band.

WoW I just have to say trying to trade for those TRU figs has started to become alot of work lol. Rant (Vent) over.

I have been obsessing with making polyhedrons out of paper. When I was in 10th grade, I was more than likely the smartest person in my geometry class (and yes, I count the teacher), so I did absolutely nothing in that class. On the wall was a poster that taught how to make these so I made a truncated icosahedron out of them (it took 270 little pieces of paper, 1 sheet of computer paper makes 12 little pieces of paper, so it took 22.5 sheets of computer paper to make). I typically worked on it in class until it was finished (took a month or so), and the teacher gave me bonus points when I was done.

In college, I had it on display in my room (yes, I kept it on display for more than 3 years), and I rented out my room my first summer. The girl I rented out my room to decided to throw all of my stuff in a box and put it in the garage. She also decided that it made perfect sense to put the fragile hollow ball of paper at the bottom of said box. Needless to say, it was completely destroyed, and the garage did little to keep the paper unweathered.

I have tried to set out and do this again several times, but I have never gotten very far; but this week I am proud to say that I have made one out of 120 little pieces of paper (10 full sheets of computer paper). I took a break today because my thumbs and index fingers are still a bit sore, but I think I will continue until I have one out of (wait for it) 1080 pieces of paper!!! That is right. Ima make one 4 times as big!!! it will be awesome, but I will probably crap out and give up before too long.

Good thing they were able to take him down with only four officers shooting him.
