Jonna and I will be leaving for Gencon around noon that day so I will not be around to Judge the an event that night. So, since I'm Gencon bound...No Clix that day. We will be back at the same bat time and the same bat channel the following Wednesday with our FEAR ITSELF month 3. If you want to play, sign up on the WizKids Event System and come out for the event.

Rob, sorry to hear about your retirement from the game. I hear you haven't played in almost two months.

SEEMS like retirement!

It is just weird coincidence that it is an even number of players EVERY week! We had an odd number last night, and I had my team on the map ready to go. Then another person walked in just as I was about ready to start the game.

S'okay. I would much rather have the large attendance numbers than be able to play. I'll get to play eventually.

Just put new events up on the Event System. Need to talk to Liam about what he wants to do for his Birthday game. He was uncertain last time I talked to him. Will update ASAP.

I'll be running a little late today. Should be there by 7.

I got an email from Jack and the Kids that said they'd be there late as well. Looks like it will be a late start for everybody!

Some questions about next week's game.. Here's the text from the WES:
Figs that don't start on a green line, but a blue or yellow line, will they be returned to the game on their green line, or the line they started at?

If a fig pushes to KO without taking any damage from an opponent, on whose force does it reenter the game?

Is there a figure limit? Seems like the game could get bogged down by overpopulous teams (I'm thinking the MJ pog armies that Liam has been known for).

More of an observation than a question: if someone loses all their figs early on, they'll be stuck sitting next to a game for hours waiting to get their figs back. Any ideas how to remedy that?

I'll let you know if any thing else comes to mind.

This week's game:

Chris C's grab bag Birthday game: Build a 400 point team that will be assigned a number. Each round everybody will grab a number from a hat and that will be the team they play with for that round. New team every round. Make sure to make your 400 point teams out of characters you don't mind other players handling!

ATTENTION CHICAGOLAND PLAYERS!!! SPECIAL EVENT AT FAIR GAME THIS WEDNESDAY!!!!

In case you weren't there when we made the announcement, Fair Game has gotten another No Man's Land month 6 OP kit unexpectedly. We are going to play for the contents of it, but it's going to be with a twist. We are not going to be rewarding the Batcave, Joker/Harley, Penguin, or Cowls by playing the game and determining the winner. These will all be given out as door prizes by random selection. Everybody will have the same chance at everything.

The game itself will be 500 points modern age only (Only Marvel and DC sets that include the Superman set and anything that is Marvel/DC that has come out since) and will have an ENTRANCE FEE OF $10 in order to purchase the booster packs that will be given out as unopened packs to the winner/fellowship players.
