Got an unexpected day off of work today- 2 teachers in another building tested positive...school is doing an evaluation with our county health department. Our immediate area is seeing a massive upswing in cases, just about the time locals have seemingly decided to just say screw it on the mask thing. Wife is seeing cases on the daily at the hospital...fun times.

I know I am missing a Z song from this list. I thought of one or saw one weeks ago and remember saying " I gotta remember that one for the last week"!

Zooropa was such an experimental album for U2 and very fun to listen to. It was the first of their albums I bought on CD.

There are some songs that are good but have the best solos; The Unforgiven - Metallica, Right Now - Van Halen, Don't Fear The Reaper - BOC. This In Flames song has their best solo starting at around 2:09. All in all the vocals are cookie monster but the music and melody is intoxicating.

Zombie Barricades - The Company Band

Damn, 2 whole counties by us have shut down their in person classes. We are going back tomorrow, since the teachers and kids are confined to just 2 grades in another building. Gonna be interesting.

It was 76 degrees F today, so we did a spontaneous trip along the Lake Huron/Saginaw Bay coast. It was awesome. Like June or September weather in November!

They should teach reading comprehension in school.

The wife and I watched the Sturgill Simpson Netflix special. It was going real good until it got to that scene where everyone was dancing. That didn't make any sense and completely killed the mood/flow of the movie. All in all we enjoyed the songs and many of the sequences.
