Oh Ryan, I am so sorry that you and your family didn't have just a little more time. Especially after reading along with everything that went on last night, I'm practically in tears for you right now. I don't even want to try to imagine what you are going through.

Hold onto the friends and family that you have around you, and lean on them for the support that you surely need. It is unfortunate that we pOgres can't do anything for you, except to be a constant group of ears waiting to listen. Your friends are (t)here for you. God speed, man.

There is nothing that I can really say here that is going to be of any use to you. Even if your uncle never got to see him before he passed, at least he knows that he was there for your Dad and your Dad knew that your Uncle was there for him (Even if he wasn't up for visitors at the time.) I'm going to do you a favor and not trot out some cliched saying right now. You need to grieve. Make sure to give yourself time to do that and don't let anybody stop you. Don't insist on being strong for anybody else's sake, because anybody that you would be strong for should be doing the same thing. We're here for you, man. Lean on us if you need to.
