Honestly, until they introduce guild STASHes (and it seems like that's only a matter of time), I'm not sure that I really understand the point of guilds in the first place. MH is maybe one of the least "chatty" online games I've encountered.

Avoid annoying randoms in X-Def. Plus the guild I'm in does a fair amount of social interaction, so that's something. It's based mostly on Facebook, so that's a nice way for extra networking.

Explains why talk on here was missing about the awesomeness of Moon Knight: Mal has fully gone over to his mistress - seen you flirting with her for awhile now - and the rest are on D3.

Don't listen to him Wanda! You understand me!!!
Hey, I still play, it's not like I'm ignoring you guys... but honestly? When I'm making about 75% of the posts here? I felt a little alone, and the True Believers took me in! And I have rainbows!
No, seriously, I have rainbows. It's the thing this weekend.

I'm basically able to play on the weekends, before the wife and kid wake up. So it's not exactly a prime time for social gaming (unless you consider 6:00am on a Sunday to be a time when mortals should actually be awake). Heck, I actually dropped some Gs on the random character box promo last week and came away with Switch, Black Panther, and Emma. Oh, and some ultimate tokens for Hawkeye. So I'm currently leveling him up so I don't have them cluttering the place up.

Cool! I'm working on Punisher right now. SHOTGUN ALL THE THINGS!

Oh, I've got a Power Prism and a Pluvian Superconductor on mine, plus the Honest John rocket launcher. Frank wrecks so much house, I actually had to dial down the persistent corpses in the graphics settings because he was breaking my video card. And I have a *nice* video card.
Incidentally, if you haven't logged in since the latest patch, the load time for the game has dropped by, seriously, 90 percent.

Yeah, I was working on him yesterday. Apparently someone had the wicked idea of using a Netharium and Advanced Neth jewel at the same time for like, +30% or so damage with ranged attacks when in close. I'm having fun with this.
Also found the Sword Gun. Which just makes me happy.
I HAVE A GUN THAT SHOOTS SWORDS THAT EXPLODE INTO SMALLER SWORDS THAT ALSO EXPLODE NOW WATCH MY SICK AIR GUITAR SOLO!!!

Oh, the Sword Gun dropped for me, too. While playing Cyclops. I took that as the RNG's way of saying, "You should really stop wasting time with X-Men and go back to Frank." Now I just have to level him up enough to use the thing.

Yeah, Frank is a lot of fun. I tend to go along the lines of chem mine * flashbang * SHOTGUN UNTIL DEAD
If there's a boss, toss in a couple point-blank RPGs.

Aw, you kids with your re-re-re-vamped (I lost track of how many times they'be redone him ) Punisher. I started with him as my Marvel Knights Founders Purchase and he was all sorts of "I have to kill it fast but this stupid game just wants me to roll around like it's Cirque Du Soleil" but I stuck with him...
...until Hail became attached to the big lug and I thought for sake of fairness and diversity I would concentrate elsewhere. Cenobite has been pretty cool but Moon Knight keeps tempting the little bit of time.

Doing 60 XDefs he is just a beast when I see him. It might be one of those characters that takes a little while to get going, but once he does... look out!
At least, that's my impression of him. I haven't acquired him as I've got too many heroes as it is (though I am getting Strange at the end of the month), but I might get him with splinters at some point. I only have over a thousand now...
(Seriously, I don't use them for anything but the occasional unstable molecule purchase.)

Pretty solidly, though, yeah, he's not going to shrug hits like Colossus or Thor. (However, he does have a passive ability to be saved from death).
Good passives - first thing I look for - are backed by a definite "brutal fighter" style. I would say he's a "salt in the wound" type: he begins by starting an opponent bleeding with one of many moves (like his crescents) and then starts pummeling the cut for increased bonus damage. While the crescents have some nice tricks make no mistake, he's melee.
One other little trick up his sleeve is that he can build up Tribute to summon Khonshu to look over him. There are two different ones, each based around a different technique. They combined with the damage stacking techniques - including a passive that protects him while injuring his attackers - are why he does probably seem to start slow and then just start building into a whirlwind of "Still standing" death.
I'm sure my fondness for the character goes towards my enjoyment of him and he's still not as enticing as, say, Punisher if you want loads of mass destruction. I can definitely see a few areas where he needs just a bit more tweaking but I wouldn't say he's a weak option. Being he's fairly new I'm not surprised people are dying easily with him as you really have to focus on the "building the layers" during a fight.
Thinking about it, a good comparison might be a WoW Rogue.

Or this person's summary works pretty well:
Playstyle-
A. Start a debate in social chat about whether or not Moon Knight is Batman.
B. Roll into enemies.
C. Throw a Truncheon to kill trash.
D. Cestus/Spiked Gauntlet punch murder blues/yellows/bosses.
E. Use your sig to blow up a boss!
