I gave Mordo Lazarus Pit to keep him around, but he lasted longer than the feat did, so I guess I can't complain.
I'll start with Engineer. I had half thought I would do an Authority theme at some point, but instead, they're eking themselves out one at a time here and there.
She takes Charge, Shape Change and I guess Precision Strike, though that last hardly matters. She teleports, Charges to K20 on Guardian, AV11 on DV16. Gets 12. Easily KOs him. She Sidesteps to block.
His Barrier comes down.
I need some PC and I guess I can do Jack Hawksmoor while I've got Engineer. Maybe I will get a theme after all.
Saarek Outwits Clayface's Clay Armor, gets a +1DV boost for doing it, then tries to attack him. AV10 on DV18. Shape Change is 3. 300 point rule kicks in for this one. Gets 6,5,3. KOs Clayface.
Demonicus uses my ID Card for BTAS68 Flash.
Flash HSS to L15 to block Clayface, attacks the T-Rex. AV11 on DV17. Gets 3. PCs that to 11. AIM Blue makes it 6. Still good enough.

"According to the city, we're just the latest in a long string of warriors in what's been a massive battle," Jack Hawksmoor said.
"Well, that's pretty black and white," Engineer said. "I guess, we roll with it," she decided, taking a flying tackle at Guardian.
"You seem to be totally fluid in form,"Saarek noted from observing Clayface, but a solid force bubble should keep you out of trouble." Clayface pounded at it, but he wasn't strong enough to break it. "Sorry friend, that bubble is as strong as my will, and you don't get to be a Green Lantern if you are weak-willed."
So with Jack in play and I'm usually the one playing him, I want to be clear, the 'starting area' is outside of rows. Figures in row C or greater do not meet Jack's City Rejects You wrath. Am I right?
Yes, Row A&B are deadly, C and further in are okay, but there's that "third turn" grace period. So you have two turns to move guys out of the starting area.
Question - (since you do play him more, you may remember) it reads "At the beginning of your turn, if it's your 3rd turn or later, deal 1 penetrating damage to each other character occupying any player's starting area."
Would you say that means I can't keep anyone but Jack in my starting area either?

It does say each OTHER character but frankly I don't remember my noting that before.
I think we could go either way. As I read it, your figures save Jack would need to be outside of the starting area. We could house rule it differently to where it only effects the opponent. My gut is to play as intended, though.
I feel like we have been playing it wrong up till now, with him only affecting opposing characters, but I think you're right. It is intended to affect all other characters, so we should do that going forward.
"Look at you, all confident and proud of your handiwork," Harpie Lady snarls, "I'll offer the same." Claws dig in deeply, effecting even Engineer through her metal shell.
"Mind if I join you?" Man-Wolf asks slicing into her also.
"You guys are tough," Engineer says, "I'll enjoy destroying you."
Little choice but to push Engineer if I want her around another turn. She'll take HSS, naturally, Precision Strike and Perplex.
Before she goes, Perplexes Starchild's Damage to 5.
Starts with a HSS attack on Harpy. AV9 on DV17. Gets 5. Breakaway 4. Ends in T19 with a Sidestep.
Superior TKs Demonicus to S14
Demonicus Perplexes Starchild's Damage to 6
Starchild teleports to I13, takes a contingency from Superior to make AV12, attacks Jackal. (As a Colossal, he can shoot out of adjacency to the AIM guy. AV12 on DV17. Gets 10. AIM makes it 4.
H'el HSS to M21, attacks Harpy, AV11 on DV17. Gets 5. Ends in N21
Prodigy to heal Manhattan. AV9 on DV16. Gets 4. Gawd my dice.
Manhattan to U17, carrying Prodigy to U18
H'El Perplexes his own DV to 19
