All I know about him, is that he starred in the unofficial pilot for The Twilight Zone.
You mean Bendix? He also was the star of "The Life Of Riley" for awhile on radio, but Gleason also played the part for awhile on TV. This was back when a TV season lasted for 40 or so episodes. The series was canceled, but later revived with Bendix in the role.
Riley was the grand-daddy of all the blustery blue-collared characters that came after, like Ralph Kramden and Fred Flintstone and such.
Bendix himself appeared in a number of good movies prior to the show. Even played an important role in Hitchcock's "Lifeboat".
The full roster was Backlash, Battalion, Flashpoint, Sunburst, and Nautika. The last three were captured but believed dead until one of the early isues of the first series.
And the two people using the computer are me and my wife.

Must be some sort of time-space displacement, where you fathered yourself after marrying your mother before you were born... Kinda like Kang. Or Immortus. Or Rama Tut the 1st. Or Rama Tut the 2nd. Or Scarlet Centurion.
And here I thought that'd go unanswered till I got back from dreamland.
You are correct. He was/is indeed the Spectre. Just not the one everyone knowns in the mainstream universe.
The thread is yours, Knightwraithe.
Thanks again JTR (y'know it's hard to come up with good questions when you're trying to do it for both trivia threads)...
When Platinum invented a Wil Magnus for herself (after Wil ditched her to go out on a date)...Name the "evil" Metal Men that the "robot" Magnus created...
Sorry bud...you have Silver listed twice...and that's not the line up.
Hint...I'm talking old school/original Metal Men comics (story was something like their 6th appearance) and the first time Wil made "evil" robots (and I'm not talking about the gas based robots either - wow DC recycled that "evil" robots vs. the Metal Men a lot).
The only evil Uranium I remember was in a Brave and Bold team-up of the Metal Men and the Atom...
I vaguely remember the gas robots. And he'd already said it wasn't them. The only other ones I seem to remember (besides the ones I previously mentioned) are Radium, Lithium, Uranium, Strontium, Thorium, Polonium, Fermium. Those are fairly new tho and I think they were created by Dave Magnus.
*Ding - Ding - Ding* We have a winner - it still cracks me up how much HS chemistry/science was put into those old Metal Men books - it would've been nice if I had discovered them (I became a MM fan late) before I was done taking my chem classes...would've made chem a lot more fun.
