Update:

So even if the show hadn't pushed til Saturday (which it still is) my wife got appendicitis last night/this morning. She'll be operated on early tomorrow morning and hopefully everything will be routine.

So not only will I not be going to play 100% but I'll be taking over for the show on Saturday (really Friday) and taking care of the wife, post-op. Not to mention the 6 y.o. who lives with us, El Jefe!

Two days before the tournament! Just going to throw out there, to guys who might not have been able to get solid ideas yet for 4 teams, a thought I had during my playtesting tonight.

SI Iron Man, loaded up with Inside Information and Elite Sniper, is pretty much the anti Doom and Anti Strange Tank, especially when bolstered by some TK and maybe a Kid Flash/Maneuver combo. I can see where Bubblehead was going with that.

I ain't sayin' I'm runnin' him, but the build sure worked well in practice. Just thought I'd share...

This combo has changed (a little). Just wanted to make sure you were aware of it!

From Tony's card:
EXTREMIS: Iron man can use outwit and perplex. When a power or ability is not countered by Iron Man's outwit, he can use Super Senses.

From the Player's guide:
#021 Iron Man
Extremis: Iron Man can use Outwit and Perplex. When Iron Man’s is not using Outwit, he can use Super Senses.

That to me means once he uses Outwit on his turn, he cannot use Super Senses and therefore does not qualify for Elite Sniper (well, he has RCE on his last 2 clicks....)
