I watched Tin-Tin on Blue Ray.
Wow. It was fun! There are a few times I had to remind myself it was CGI, and not real actors.
now I wish I would've seen it in theaters.
i had seen he movie before, and it is still hilariously bad. made even funnier by the commentary. Its too bad it was such a poopshoot, because the art department did a pretty amazing job of recreating a lot of the props and enviorments. if ANY other director (barring the guy who did blood reign and postal) was given this movie, it could have been great. with Smshlshlsmsodbngh at the helm, it was destined to fail.
I'll say this: I'm a sucker for a slasher-whodunit. This was not good. The end, was just supernaturally dumb. The execution of the camera shots were terrible. And the story.....while an interesting premise, wasn't justified in this.
Please don't watch it (mostly) like I did.
Watched it on HBOGo. Fast forwarded through a bit of the slow stuff.
Watched "Exit through the gift shop" and Tucker and Dale vs Evil." Both were a lot of fun to watch, but ETTGS gave me more to chew on.
coming soon : nu52 Hercules

I watched a documentary on the Scrabble world championship. It was really good. It was shot MTV True Life style so it was not boring.
Didi that have a hockey player from Canada named Tanner Glass in it? He's a big Scrabble buff/player, and I know he's been involved in some stuff like that before.
Anyway, I watched Thor last night for the first time since I'd see it in theatre last year. Still a great movie. Funny timing as well, since we received a preview of the Avengers movie Frost Giants today.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
Free Starz/Encore preview over the weekend netted me a viewing of Tron: Legacy and The Green Hornet. I enjoyed both films, the former moreso than the latter .
I did not see anyone from Canada mentioned I do want to see Thor. I missed it when it came out I hope it is good

Saw the Hunger Games this last weekend. Was okay, hadn't read the book beforehand, though. Did think it was interesting skewering of the reality-TV concept taken to the ultimate extreme (teenagers FIGHT TO THE DEATH!)
I admit I was a little disappointed that
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
The one girl from District 11 (can't remember her name) wasn't using her cute and innocent demeanor to hide a ruthless instinct. That would have been an amusing twist.
Between convincing Katniss to use the psychowasp hive to almost have Kat as well as other opponents killed, to the booby-trapped food... I think there might have been a case made for that.
Or maybe I just have played too much mafia.
