Oh, that power. Died right away

So. That was my first game of Mafia.

It was a lot of fun! I got to play as one of my all-time favorite characters, and after I got the hang of it, I think I did pretty well. (Maybe too well, heh. The bad guys had it out for me when I started spitting names left and right!)

Thanks for being patient with a new player. I'd definitely like to do this again.

I really want a DC version of this to happen...

first it was not an excuse it was how i was running the game. if someone pointing out earlier i would have changed it then. day phases can end quick i didn;t think it would be fair to punish ppl that have been playing who just didn;t post ect. also i think the mafia had a lot of options i don't think the town was overpowered. and rokks day cop power had a chance to fail and it did fail the second time he used it and it never once found mafia so telling me that it was angering you i just don;t get. and everytime rokk orcale'd a question with a players name in it i have him no exact answer.

I am sorry about the rule mishap but really it was there to scare not to be enforced really. hope it does not prevent you from playing in my future games.

Of course not. I like the chaos your game tend to be compared to a majority of games that run here. Complaints after the fact are meant only to improve in the future (i.e. I still don't know how I got Name Copped, as it wasn't a listed power). Complaints during the game is just #####ing at an annoying confluence of events.

Except I never Oracled a question where I used a player's name (directly)...

I thought the townie that were left really deserved a win so I decided that instead of killing one or two of them before the game ended with my lynch, I'd plead for my own death, see what kind of chaos it caused, and then give them all the win. I guess people really didn't question it at all. Odd. IF anyone ever pleads to be lynched everyone always claims jester or something. This time? Nothing.

I think we were all just so figuring on Dark Phoenix and were trusting enough of who was left, we just ran with it (though I was concerned there was a Bomb trick or something). Mainly, you were admitting to having made a kill - a new power, for you - and the Mafia was pretty much gone, so...

Not to mention it fit Phoenix perfectly, so it seemed more like that's what they needed to do.

Jean turning into Phoenix was obvious. I was hoping getting rid of the mafia quickly would keep you from going Dark.

I went dark as soon as I rezzed. There was a chance for me to turn back townie based on what VDB told me. I went PGO the first night since I couldn't bring myself to kill someone that deserved the win and didn't know exactly who was mafia yet. Then I killed Vorlon for you guys. Not very sporting of me, but I was in a mood to be nice for a change. Could be because of what's going on IRL with me being crapped on at work all the time for working hard. Sorry to VDB if it messed up the game.

What a FUN game!!!

I think my character was a little OP, but I guess it balanced out with the fact that I'm often a villain, and I tend to piss some folks off (which actually fit perfect ). The N1 write up kinda gave me a lot of cred though I think.

Very fun roles VDB, all around. I would have had fun in this game no matter who I got.

I think Stan deserves an honorable metion. Thanks for not really gunning for me at the end Stan, though I wouldn't have been offended if you had (I try to always respect someone playing their role even if it hoses me and I get pissed at the moment).

Felt a little bad for the mafia at times, but the had one of the best masterminds running the operation in Darq. Was a shame he got day copped and truth detected. Not much you can do in that situation.

Punk played a very good game for his first game. It's a testament to his play when the mafia go after a 1st time player.
