Flurry: break the wall then break opponent's figure.
Lure with one figure, the others waiting to attack. Moving one figure forward is a bit obvious, but leaving one figure to the left while everyone else is right can do the same thing. Just make sure that once the opponent goes for the lure, the remaining figures are able to pounce back.
CAP Quasar + CAP Nick Fury. Fill team as necessary.
That is not a tactic. It's part of a team.
Let's Play "Whoizzit?"
My Avatar is an as-yet-un-clixed character. If you know who it is, be the first respondant to correctly identify this character I'll send you some free rep!
MARTIAL ARTIST PRO!!
75th Indigo-1 + WoS Nightcrawler. Carry NC with Indigo. Phasing allows to get really far on the map. Push Indigo to get to her second click with 10 atk and 4 damage close range. After she's rested, Nightcrawler snatches away any enemy character (I personally like going after support pieces) and bring it back to Indigo to pummel. To finish it off, use DC 75th Batman to Free Action Smoke Cloud then Charge. BAM! First kill.
We used to play a ton of 400 point and higher games. One of my favorite tactics (which requires 4 actions) involved:
1. TK out Spiral or Morlock Leader to unleash Flurry + Blades badness on my opponents cluster of enemies, or big bad figure.
2. TK out a TKer
3. TK Back Spiral or Morlock Leader
In the best case scenario I've just dealt 12 clicks of damage, and any of my opponents remaining figures are now based by Mandroid Armors / Jean Greys.
I have to say with BatB Fire and Ice, I am guilty of using the indoor barrier. All the time. It is especially useful against figures with high defense, stealth and SS/SC due to the poison ability.
I also keep enhancement people next to Fire and Ice to increase their damage during a duo attack. Specifically the White Knights. My friend hates this team comp and I personally find it a little cheesy, but killing people with Fire and Ice is just fun.
Heck all you need is U Spiral & LE Morlock Leader...Flurry/Blades FTW!
My current favorite is The Leader and Humanoids. Played a 300 point modern age this week where I put The Leader on some elevated, and then made a box with five Humanoids against the elevated. TKed a Winter Hulk into the box, outwitted defense powers, and over the next three or so turns just destroyed him.
If I see a collosal, I will always choose to play on Hawkworld. Either they have nowhere to go, or I can outwit their flight even if just one corner of their base occupies open air. Destroyed a sentinel army with NC and Professor X making that happen while Cyclops and Wolverine kept Knightley from pushing with leadership/X-Men TA goodness.
