Do you know all the particulars on the pre-release?
I may or may not be there, depending on start time, fees, ect.
X-wing is always fun (knock on wood).
I'm going re-evaluate my team building philosophy (and bake my dice) and get revenge. The Empire always strikes back.
I think it starts @ 1pm on 6/1/14 and there is a $10 or $15 entry fee, so the store can pay for the OP Kit.

. Players bring 100-point squadrons and compete through a number of Swiss-style preliminary rounds while following all the standard rules described in the X-Wing Tournament Rules document (pdf, 231 KB).
However, in the final round, everything changes! After the close of the preliminary rounds, the tournament’s two top players set aside their personal squads and command new squads that they build with the starfighters included in the event kit.
One player will construct an Imperial squad that fields both the TIE defender and TIE phantom. The other will construct a Rebel squad that utilizes the Z-95 Headhunter as well as the E-wing. Both players will complete their 100-point squadrons by adding starships and upgrades from their existing X-Wing collections. Then, each of the tournament’s top four participants get to claim one of the preview expansions!
Prizes:
•1st Place – First choice of one Assault at Imdaar Alpha preview starship expansion
•2nd Place – Second choice of one Assault at Imdaar Alpha preview starship expansion
•3rd Place – Third choice of one Assault at Imdaar Alpha preview starship expansion
•4th Place – Fourth choice of one Assault at Imdaar Alpha preview starship expansion

So my grandmother (on my father's side) was not a nice person. I loved her dearly but she was a plotter and a schemer. 90% of the crap she'd pull I would never repeat in public.
She passed away this time last year in her late 80s. For about eight years prior to that she was living with my uncle.
Grandmom had four sisters and a brother and in the old days they all lived in the same community as did all of my mother's family.
In 1971 that community experienced a horrible flood. My grandmother's house and all of her siblings' houses flooded to the second story. The land my mother's family lived in at the time was eventually reclaimed as federal wetland and could not be built on.
The tragedy was that every family photo album was destroyed across my entire family on my father's side. Only one baby picture survived off my father from 1940. That's it.
From 1971 to 2013 at the time of my passing my grandmother lamented the loss of these photos. No photos of her parents existed, my aunts wedding, etc.
Now a year after her death my uncle is selling his house and has just brought himself to clean out grandmom's stuff. What did he find? Every family photo dating back to easily 1910.
In these boxes of albums, there is my grandmother's eighth grade graduation photo, wedding photos for my parents, photos of my great-grandparents, professional photos of my dad as a kid with his siblings. It's overwhelming.
None of us had ever seen a picture of my dad as a teenager. So Mother's Day, my brother used my parent's scanner and I brought over two personal hand scanners and we scanned hundreds of photos that my grandmother hid from us for 42 years.
I can only assume it was to keep her sisters from wanting them as well as they legitimately lost all of their photos. Grandmom must have got the photos up just before the water raised to the second floor.
In her last months, she had lost a lot of her memory, but she still could maintain that facade of missing those photos.
I still have a couple hundred photos to scan. I loved that woman to death. I love the fact we're still uncovering her schemes.
TL;DR - I think he's saying that he's attracted to grandmothers.
See, that is the problem. I only have the paperclip, or maybe a staple, symbol over the globe, which I use to hyperlink all the time. Then there is the X'd out staple/paperclip, that allows me to remove a hyperlink.
Where is just the plain old paperclip on the "go advanced" menu?
