Rough year... so I decided to treat myself this week. My favorite thing to do is put on this sexy nurse costume and get overly friendly with post-surgery men at an out-of-state hospital. So I did that for awhile and late at night earned a little spending cash dancing at the Coliseum over on 8 Mile Road.

Good times.

It lasted longer than expected. I was knocked out of course, but the surgeon told my wife that it was possibly the most difficult hernia in his 20+ years as a surgeon. My old hernia mesh was all messed up and had significant muscle and tissue growth that he had to remove from it before he could replace it. I've had pain in that area for years, and knowing that it might be fixed finally is pretty awesome. We'll see how it pans out. This one does not have the pain that my first couple hernia surgeries had as of a day later anyway.

The other item of note is kind of weird. My assigned nurse in post-surgery recovery was overly "friendly". I am not the socializer/flirter I was 10 years ago, and I didn't realize it at first, as some people are just more touchy-feely than others. She wasn't bad looking at all, and was maybe in her late 30s, but I was surprised, plus on 2 Norcos I was a bit slow on the uptake. Lots of massaging my chest, my shoulders, leaning in close to talk to me, and a little bit more brushing up against me than the situation required. Since my surgery was for a hernia, she knew nothing would be happening, and when my wife was around, she was very professional. My perception was a bit muddled, but I think she was getting herself kinda worked up once when she was asking if I liked her massaging my chest.
It kinda makes me wonder if she takes extra interest in other middle aged drugged-up guys in recovery. On the flip side, she was decently hot and interesting, so I wonder if I was flirting and just don't recall.

No pics of the nurse, and I only know her first name. I think CL is too tall, but hey, if he could change his voice and appearance that much, then he can also pull off the height issue too.

Watch out, the Lions will be contending for the Super Bowl in the next 5 decades, while at least a couple of the LPCers will still be around! You'll have to put your money maker where your mouth is, and at the age of 74 that may be not so pleasant.

Tonight at work included:
shoveling snow
a dead cat
possible drug dealers
ice machine leaking all over the floor
splitting my pants
trying to fix tv's
someone leaving their headlights on all night (possibly the drug dealers)
a bunch of virginians with accents so heavy I can only understand every 3rd or 4th word

But at least I didn't get a papercut tonight.
