School has been keeping me busy after that the next article will be when Brave and bold comes out

during the summer I should be able to do articles every other week.

Also THis sunday I will be out of town.

Our first Alter-Ego is "intresting". There is a debate in another thread going on about how the 216 pt Supes gets owned by Thor. I agree that the 216pt Supes sucks. We've had this discussion before (I'm talking to YOU E-Sleazy) about a Comic accurate Supes. I think this one covers that. He can't Fight as well as Bruce Or Iron Fist, so he does not deserve higher than a 9 or a 10 attack score. Everyone so far likes the 48 pt. Clark and the 48 pt. Supes. I like it so far. Have to see it in a sealed tourney first.

I'd agree, supes should be ok being represented by low Attack, High Damage, but his point value should be lower with that crappy attack score.

I have these set up to record, but nothing waiting with that title. Perhaps it got knocked off because of a recording conflict.

Regarding the Alter Ego, I read the article and I'm not as excited as WK Jake. Perhaps the better clix players will find a use for them, but for me and what I like in a fig, it looks like a waste of plastic. Probably half (4) will be in the lower range of characters, so looks like a lot of opportunity for disappointing sealed pulls. Even in a draft - with four at a table - you'll still end up with the fifth and final carp pull.

The episode for Friday 3/26 was the episode I'm talking about. I belive Saturdays was a repeat (A Bat divided).

Comic Oasis will be closed Easter Sunday.

Yes, not only was Roland a no-show, he scheduled a contest for easter.

Since Justin didnt show either, we had only three players.

#1 Kingpin, Terry-Bats, 2 moloids, Ult Wasp, and Batzarro

#2 Kid Flash, Impossible man, lightspeed, Yellow Lantern and Throg

#3 Skrull theme - Pym, Veranke, general, warrior and infiltrator

Yellow Lantern's team beat Batzarro's team on the space map, but fell into Crystal Lake against the sneaky skrulls.

Nice to meet you Beck. Hope everyone has a happy Easter.

I just want to point out that Easter is for PUSSIES! Why celebrate all that chocolate when you can go play in a tournament!



The best part is, when I was living in Vegas, Wizkids actually scheduled the XPlosion Marquees that Easter weekend and I believe Cheese Boy's or DreamLand was that day's scheduled playday and they kept it.

So there was one, if not two Marquees (for Dmitiri Bukharin and Kitty Pryde) on Easter. And I went to both.

We weren't doing anything anyway as the wife and I are not religious in any stretch of the imagination.

So there! Easter. BAH!

With Squirecam & Beck attending Oasis yesterday, we now have 20 players qualified on the official Team Vegas rankings.

There are 20 freakin' players in town who have been to 2 or more tournaments since the beginning of the year. How awesome is that!

And there is more on the horizon. There are 3 more players out of New Dave's crew & Oasis Nick who just need a few more rounds under their belt. With BatB coming soon, that isn't goning to be a problem.

24 players in town. We haven't had those types of numbers in years.

Now if we just has an event to bring us all together. Say like a tourney for a Chase Sinestro Bats. Hmmm......

Didn't know Oasis was closed on Easter. Jeff just said come up with a schedule and we did. Glad you're moving the Heroes & Villains to the 11th. That will be a fun one.

Going to be MIA until BatB comes out & after my mom's visit is over. Decided that last Wed at LSoM. I need a break mentally. The Chase for Throg burned me out somewhat and I need to wind down from the power gaming mindset.

Ah those were the days. Clixin' all day at two venues. Driving out to Boulder City to take their prizes and qualify for regionals. Getting speeding tickets driving up to morman country.

Who drove you to those Marquees? Who won those BTW? Are there any tourneys scheduled in LA for the weekend of April 9th?
