I don't think that Electra has LOS to the AL-29 barrier because that would mean fireing through the 45 btw barrier AL-28 and Deathbird.

I'll let Richard deside what to do about it, but if you move Deathbird out of the way you'd have LOS.

You are correct Doom's Medic! A couple of weeks ago I got called on this. I had Green Arrow between two of my figs and tried to fire at an angle between them and got the same call.

I won't do my move until late tomorrow (since the Zombies are still waiting for some FRESH SWAMP THING SALAD!!!) so that will give you time to fix your move Glorfindel.

Hmm, yeah your right. I'm getting pretty rusty on my rules, I only play once a month at a tournament these days. I do now remember that they only recently brought that rule in though.

On to the story.......

As Scott watched the two JLAers seemed to be starting some sort of food fight with Crusher..........what was even more interesting was that it seemed to be effective.

"What kind of deranged-obsesive-compulsive-control-freak teaches them to fight like that?"

"The one throwing the pizza is thinking of bragging to some old bat.....if that means anything."

"Not to me........but it does seem to be working. He's not paying attention to us anymore. Sue, can you can you drop this part of the shield for a second."

Sue starting to feel the strain,

"Yah........ but I can't........ hold it...... much longer.....you have to hurry up!!!!"

Scott not wasting any time, and feeling Betsy boosting his power, released a full-power optic blast at his distracted target. Crusher who was actually starting to be able to stand again was again knocked off his feet by the giant red colored beam.

Sue quickly replaced the energy shield but she knew that she wasn't going to be able to hold it this time. As she looked on she saw Deathbird fly around the corner trying to retrieve one of her weapons that seemed to be less damaged than the rest of her gear. Feeling a sense of relief and concentrating her field between Creed and herself she felt she could actually hold out a bit longer.

What she didn't count on was a black garbed figure who had moved up and was eying her as her next target. Silent as always Electra recently resurrected from the dead by the hand had identified a target. The target would fall. Reaching into one of her pockets pulling out a salt pellet she reached back and waited for her moment........there! The lady dressed in blue turned away from her to concentrate on Crusher. It would be her last mistake today. Throwing the pellet it hit her target in the shoulder and opened. Sue was caught off guard. Suddenly blinded with the stinging substance Sue lost her focus and dropped her field......that was the last thing she remembered of this fight.

Crusher had been testing the field that was stopping him from taking one of the Fantastic Four down. When he saw Sue put her hands to her eyes he didn't even think he just lashed out taking her out with one shot and then looking back at the do-gooders that where throwing food and napkins at him. He grabbed one of the napkins and started to wave it around with a smug look on his face.

Crusher:
"You guys out number me like 5 to 1. Doesn't seem like very 'hero-like' to me."

Torch watched it all in slow motion. Sue blinded, Deathbird taking off and Crusher knocking his sister out of the fight.
With a surge of anger Torch was re-focused. This would be a day these villains would remember for the rest of their lives as the day they met fire incarnate.

Damb me for not uploading a newer map. I was going off that old map in my sig, and thought Torch wouldn't be able to running shot and see Deathbird. Would have put her at AL24. Actually, I think I meant to put her in AL24 anyway, typo on my behalf I believe.

No just some team planning that had me going first with the rest of team good being in a different time zone. But for far to long you were ahead of me in points............let someone else be in the lead you big meany!

As for map-influenced-mistakes I'll see your deathbird placement and raise you a baddly though out barrier. When Electra moved up I had planned to move that upper part of the barrier over one so you couldn't break through. When it came time to posting I forgot to change it. DOH!!!
