1. Penguin will make a an attack on Manthing but first hell try for his leadership-roll 2 nope he attacks Manthing Av 8 vs Dv 14 need a 6 to hit but a 12 to damage... rolled a 7 (2,5) hit for 2 -2 for invulnerability = 0

2. Deadshot will fire on Firestar Av 8 +2 for RCE = 10 vs Dv 14 + 2 for ES/D =1 for hindering= 17 need a 7 to do 2 roll- 8 (2,6) firestar takes 2

The artists formerly known as the Spider Friend's turn:

Special Guest star Man-Thing steals the show by not only soft-shoeing aside of an ill intended umbrella blow but also lashing out with a sold (Roll: 5+6) counterstrike against his nasally challanged* foe. (2 clicks to Pengiun, EW bypassed any possible Mastermind.)

Firestar passes. .... gas....err poison KOing Doc Ock, and wounding Deathstroke and Fetality....oddly Man-Thing was unaffected by the putrid proximity attack, in fact it almost seems to make him stronger.

*notice my attempt at political correctness tward big-nosed people.

There's been some really impressive bad rolling in this game. I'm pretty impressed at how many bad rolls you guys have made without actually rolling a 2. We've been rolling the extremes ... either 2's or Hit's with high opponent super senses values.....though you guys did that for a while too on Spidey. I figured Thing for "a gonner" when he moved into the hornet's nest between the buildings, but you guys have sucked impressively when attacking him.

Yeah, it was my only attack thats actually hit for a while. I figured using my one 10 AV character to attack the 14 DV shooter with no defensive powers (read: no Super Senses), might actually allow me to achieve something.

Sigh...I'm really getting depressed at the moment about how much luck there is in Heroclix between this and my other online games. It really takes a lot of the fun out of playing don't you think? Be nice if there was a way to play without relying on dice.

I dunno, I sorta like the luck factor of the game. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes Firestar sets herself on fire on her first attack. There's luck in the game and that adds variety. BTW, my first attack in my friday night game (real live game with plastice figures and dice and all) went the same way, I was playing the serpent society and my first attack came up snake eyes....second attack was boxcars...So I guess that means it all evened out.

Fantastic Four & friends, Turn 19

Alicia Masters attack Sandman. Needs a Crit Hit to hurt him. Rolls a 4 (3+1). Great attempt there.

Thing attacks Sandman. 8AV vs 14-1 DV. Needs a 5. Rolls a 9 (5+4). Now wait for it...Super Senses is a 4!!! It's a MIRACLE! After all this time, Sandy takes 3 clicks. Wow.

Invisible Woman moves to G23 and attacks Sandman. AV of 7 vs. DV of 12 -2. Needs a 3. Rolls a 5 (2+3). Super Senses is a 1!!! Amazing. Sandman is OUT!

Clixhunter, it's just you and us. We could call this a game whenever you like. I'm willing to continue on but we've got you pretty tied up right now. Baring some really bad rolling (even worse than we've already been doing), I think we should probably win this one. Though I suspect Firestar will probably go down.

We could start another. I've got a friend who moved to England and a couple local friends who will be more reliable than GreenStranger who wanted to get in on the next one.
