But again I postulate...do we need a draft? I am just wondering because you can count the number of conflicts for a figure between teams on 1 finger, so wouldn't going through a snake style draft be kind of a pointless exercise for all but conflicting teams?

As to the Captain America issue, it was stated at the beginning of this round that we were only drafting themes. Doing this limited the amount of crossover that we saw I'm sure, and with it only being one figure, I'd say it's up to those 2 players to see if one of them doesn't mind playing without Cap. If both absolute want him, then it's up to the commish to decide who gets him in whatever method he chooses. (Die roll, draft, autocratic decision, etc.)

I say that Doombot and Stranger discuss Mr. Rogers and then we get a resolution. If they can work something out, then we don't have to draft.

I just need to confirm the 10 figure limit or if I can try out the "3 use" challenge to add a bigger roster. MSU can do the full LoD that way, too.

Yeah I already sent Doombot a message ages ago, and if he wants Cap it's really not a big deal.
I don't really see it as a conflict, enough to have a dice roll or something.

Annnnyway, I agree that we really don't need a draft at all at this point.
Which is good, we can get started right away.

But how are attendance upgrades being handled? Is it one freebie before the first match, then two figures can upgrade every game but not on consecutive rounds?

Also I really wanted to run Carnage, it's unfortunate that he hasn't belonged to any teams that are clixed.

I thought about them. They were the team I wanted to run for a long time. But with X-Nation having Namor. I didn't want to take them. Plus we have Defenders in other leagues.

I like Strangers Team Idea and if Doombot is cool with no Cap then I don't see an issue at all.

We were floating the "sharing" players idea.

I have Namor. I think that's why the Defenders were avoided?

I think we have a great mix of teams and we have so many teams on the table that will get played next season.

This league, as I said, is gonna be the "Gentleman's League" in my mind. I don't think we're gonna see a lot of Cosmic Spidey killing this league or all the usual suspects as far as power pieces being played constantly and trampling this league.

I'm hopin the various point totals and possible scenarios keep that true.

If someone wants to run The Defenders I will give up Namor for them.

I have the option of having Archangel/Angel in my X-Nation now.

Also. If Prof X is wanted by the X-Gold squad we can talk about that too.

X-Men Blue doesn't need Professor X if we can have Jean Grey as she fills the 10th spot and fulfills a better role on the team as TKer/3rd string attacker than the good Professor's Perplex/2nd string attacker/Mind Controller.

Oh, and nice picture and article in EW this week! Especially after how bad I was feeling after last week's cover story on the Cap movie. That would have been ironic if this week's article would have been in last week's mag!

Actually, originally, I really wanted to run Dr. Strange.
I thought about the Defenders, but wanted something a little more...gritty.
Then Midnight Sons, but that team is SO front-loaded.
Then Illuminati, but everyone else had been grabbed.

I guess my point is, it's much harder to think of teams when you are trying to focus on one character.

(Although Strange is on a lot of teams, but I also mean people like Carnage, Doc Ock, etc)

The Cap situation has resolved itself.

As for my "challenge", we will leave up to everyone here, as I directly benefit if it goes through, and I don't want to seem like I am giving myself any undue advantanges.
