I just left a (typically) lengthy response to a thread on how the NECA-owned Wizkids seems to be working or not working for us. It seemed worthwhile to point it out in case anyone else here wanted to chime in or at least use the opportunity to figure out how well or poorly the new Wizkids experience has been for them.

I'm trying to think if I'd have a use for more than those two pair. The "in" joke nature of them is so particular to our little slice of HCR that it's not as if they're something like comics or other pop-cultural themes that I would see giving away as little gifts. So, I'm really just buying them to expand my assortment of dice for my own use.

I really was just "thinking loudly" as one Jordanian I knew 20 years ago used to say, wondering if I could think of (and possibly fishing for) a good reason to expand my order. Some other custom dice I bought through this site I bought two pairs each of, the extras having become part of a birthday gift to an old, clix-playing friend, and I've already found myself wishing I'd bought one or two pairs more of each.

I'm not in the market for dice, so I haven't paid a lot of attention. What's different about these that makes them attractive to ogres?
