When word of the Larfleeze interaction and of course the new Shape Change ruling makes it out, I don't see how we ever see Metron or Nightcrawler again. Not that they're not good - of course they are, but the top tier just got a new level.

When WK publicly releases the Player's Guide that was printed and given out at Origins, we're in for a fun ride at GenCon. While it's down to 15 maps, the number of playable characters expanded significantly.

Seriously, the new Print and Play Rule Book is insane. I wish I had it in a PDF to share.

I think the big thing is Shape Change. Nightcrawler carrying ANYTHING is a little ridiculous. Whew! I have a lot to think about.

I'd have a hard time choosing between Eradicator ( now we are finally getting him yay), Mr. Sinister, Sodam Yat, Hope ( by the time set came out we'd know her powers probably ). Pixie,( her and Nightcrawle could be a devastating combo ), Exodus ( would really add alot to Brotherhood teams ), Rockslide ( a awesome brick with limtied range, regen, and quake ), Red Son Supes, Red Son Batman, Damon Hellstrom ( really need him ), Sorcerer Supreme Brother Voodoo, Omega level Iceman ( wanted him for years ), AOA Sabretooth and wildchild duo ( Again wanted for awhile ),Midnighter/Apollo duo ( since were getting wildstorm figs now I'd make this the most expensive click and uber powerfull ), The Doctor, Jenny Sparks ( quintessence/mystics and uber strong ), Baby Jenny Sparks ( would be surprisingly powerfull would be a blast to play, and a good way to mock an opponent).

The two teams were:

Moonstone w/Thunderbolts ATA
Venom w/Thunderbolts ATA
Bullseye w/Thunderbolts ATA
Yellow Lantern object
Crimson Gem object

Metron
Kid Zoom
Nurse
Crimson Gem object

Thunderbolts KO'ed Kid Zoom and Nurse, but Metron pulse waved the T-Bolt to death. He only took 1 hit from Bullseye (2 psychic blast damage) late in the game. T-Bolts couldn't hit Metron. Good game for the spectators.
