I don't know, I think Kal sounds like a fine choice for a chase. I was thinking that barring Lex or a DC universe Superman being one of the chases Kal sounds like a chase I'd like to own, assuming that his sculpt is good. The wind was firmly out of my sails after the setlist reveal. Of course, I thought Rojhaz was a fun choice for a chase figure as well.
I'm ok with Rojhaz. But for Supes there are sooooo many Elseworlds stories that would have made better figures. Son of Darkseid is a cool one that's been confirmed. Speeding Bullets would be very cool. The story where Supes was born on Earth and sent to Krypton, only to become the GL of Krypton and it's sector is a cool story. The Superman Inc. story is another one I really liked. I'd actually prefer Amish Superman from The Nail before Kal.
It's like Michael Jordan going to the YMCA to play basketball.

OH MY. Flashpoint Aquaman is excellent. He's the Aquaman we always should have gotten but never did. Okay, he's firmly on my want list now, Flashpoint figure or no.

I like the idea of Medieval Kal as a Chase. I'll like it even more if we also get Speeding Bullets Superman and Red Son Superman to along with the already confirmed figures. But without those two, Kal will seem to be a bit of a bad choice. I'll still like his inclusion though.
If the dial info for the new Superboy is accurate, then I will be quite happy. He is pretty great for his points, and even better if you throw a Superman out to wreck house and get KO'd before Superboy mops up the pieces.

I know! Superboy+Eradicator+any Superman ever looks like a terrific team.

$1.00 PC rolls is pretty standard at most of the charity events. If I recall correctly (and I could be wrong) but at the Finals of one of the Clix for a Cures last year they dropped over 100.00 for 1 roll.
That was at the midwest C4TC last year. It was the first roll of the first game. The players were my friend Phil (Iron Lantern on the realms and also finished 4th at worlds this year) and AL (Nobody on the realms). They were both basically playing the same team and neither wanted to see the other one win the game because they both win most of the time at the same venue in our area. They were both playing with the Shazam part of the duo with Black Adam. They both were holding the meteorite special object. One hit from either of them to the others' Shazam would mean a KO and pretty much cost either of them the game. Phil got in the first hit so AL (Being pretty well off financially) spent $75 out of those $100 to make Phil reroll that one attack roll 75 times. Phil missed a few, so that's where the other $25 came from. By the end, AL gave up and let Phil get the hit. Phil's arm was very tired.

I love the picture of Chi that just went up on Facebook. His brother is standing beside him while he holds his brand new baby girl, and he is wearing a Thundercats t-shirt. What a dork. Clearly the Ogre shirt would have been the way to go.

As a guy who posted a pic of him and his son in matching Superman shirts, I'm afraid I can't comment.

I sure as heck wouldn't want to sacrifice a Superman just to give +1 stats to the Reign of the Supermen characters if that Superman is the usual 200+ point character. I think the perfect Superman for this job is the Origins Superman at 93 points. Let him deal some hurt, get KO'd, then turn people like The Eradicator into brutes (12 Speed, 12 Attack, 19 Defense, 4 Damage). Now that sounds great.

Well, I wasn't saying just march them to their KO. Obviously inflict as much damage as possible along the way. But Superboy, with a +1 bump across the board is terribly powerful.
