"Maybe I can help," Lorna Dane says.

"You can," Fabian Cortez says, "But I am going to help you first." With a touch Polaris is super-charged, beyond her peak. "Go get them!".

Barely able to accept the surge of power inside her she forges ahead and makes a full-on magnetic burst.

"Frost! Shield us!" Ultraman says. Too late, the blast nearly takes himself and Killer Frost out. It leaves Polaris greatly weakened.

"What the heck did I just do?" she asks, wobbily looking at the carnage she created around her.

"It's what we did," Cortez says, "And what we did was magical."

Since you remind me, I should get a turn in here. Not that I had really forgotten, but while we're still a few hundred points ahead here, I did want to keep it slow.

So much for getting any use out of Killer Frost. She's got Steal Energy, but that assumes she'd hit anyone with her 6AV. Ha.

Can Silk Spectre breakaway from Lockheed? Gets 1. AV9 on DV17. Gets 9. 2 to him after Toughness is a KO.

We do have quite a bottleneck, haven't we? Really limits option.

"The minx got the drop on us!" the Renegade said. "But she'll pay for it." He slammed her into the wall with his Kryptonian strength. Woozy as she was from Fabian's power boost, she was in little condition to resist.

"Not so much fun when someone does it to you, is it?" Killer Frost asked, kicking the barely conscious X-Man, knocking her out cold.

"What is this, a dragon?" Silk Spectre asked. "I've seen more strange things today than I have in my whole life, and I lived with Dr. Manhattan." She tried to strike at Lockheed, but the little dragon was quick. Silk Spectre didn't let it faze her though and kept up with a flurry of attacks until one of them connected. "That's that, then," she said as she knocked the dragon out of the sky.

"I wouldn't count on that," Adam Strange warned her. "There's always another one where they came from, in this fight at least."

The problem with putting off a game is that you totally forget what you were doin'.
