I think it's a good thing that vlad's family is in touch with his grandmother enough to know that something's wrong if she doesn't answer her phone. Some people would be all, "I'm sure everything is ok. I'll go over this evening and check on her if I have time." Vlad went right away.

This borders on too much substance, but I thought the same thing. There aren't a whole lot of people I know that would be able to have such a fast family response time. Good stuff, even if it is a bad situation.

This isn't making me miss the days of running over to Helen's condo to fix her fridge while she panics that the small drips from it will go into the unit below and get her sued. Or trying to calm her down so she'd take care of her arm she cut open while trying to turn off the water. <sigh> Nope, not missing those at all!

My first time break today to be able to waste time on realms. Been on the go since about 7:00am. Bunch of crap. Ironically, that deadline I had to meet Friday that I mentioned had been moved to today? Well my internet went totally down here just as I was submitting my final product! Had to reboot, track down issues, and change a setting. So I missed the deadline by 2 freaking minutes. It won't be a problem, except that I will get verbally abused by the Operations section for missing it after lambasting them for dropping the ball lately.

Wife had an ultrasound this morning. We were greatly relieved that everything is ok with the little parasite, since the van crash had shaken Angila up a little.

Local teaching interview in an hour, then 400 pts B/C/F slicefest tourney today.

Looks like I might have a chance to finally unload the Master Mold that's been sitting around forever. Does anybody know, do you have to fill out customs forms to mail to Canada?

I have always had to do so.

Is it a pain to do so? I'd like to make this trade but not at the expense of tearing my hair out because it turns into a major headache.

No it's pretty easy, but please go get a form and do it before you mail the package. The people in line will be very grateful.

But some countries charge a tax based on the value of the item. You should check with who you are sending it to to make sure.
