Had 3 friends over last night and we played Heroclix! It was like old times. 4 people, 800 points of pretty fun teams, and pizza &drinks. Only difference is that we were all packed up and they were gone by 9 pm. 6 years ago we'd have played until about 1 this morning.

The game is still very fun for me, and the new rules feel pretty player friendly. A few things still take some getting used to (no object with a Hypersonic attack, auto knock back with a Super Strength close attack, etc), but hopefully we can play a game a month or so and get back in the swing of things. I still have about the last 3 years of figures that need to get used. Last night I played a Marvel family reunion, with purple disco suit Zeus joining Billy, Freddy, and Mary. Ape Batman bystander took the place of Tawky Tawny. Several lousy rolls evened the odds quickly after I started off kicking ass, but with 3,200 points of X-Men, Defenders, and Marvel family on the map, the game was nowhere close to being totally done.

Also the first time I ever used the DOTA2 quasi 4 player map. It is a pretty map, and was new to all of us, so it worked out perfectly.

Oh I am still taking it easy. Only left the house once in the last 5 1/2 days. They all came here to play. I cleaned the basement where I have all my wW2 airplane stuff and my Heroclix stash. Some of that hasn’t been organized since we unpacked it 5 years ago. That’s what motivated me to get a game together.

I finally had some guys I could tell my story about the overly touchy nurse to in person. We agreed that it would be a much creepier situation if it was a male nurse doing it to drugged up females, but i’m still surprised it happened. I am now 100% sure I said and did nothing flirty to her when she was with me, though if I was able to, I probably would have. I certainly never said “no, stop it” or anything like that which would denote advancement into actual illegal type stuff.

Also, I said "The Falcons are next. The NFC South is a tough division this year, and they're going to have a rough go of it."

That division was so tough, they got all of the Wild Cards! Saints (11-5), Panthers (11-5) wild card, and Falcons (10-6) wild card. Best division in the NFL.
