My 10-pack had a Dino, a 3*, and eight 2*. Disappointing to say the least.

Are any of you veteran players out there paying the 100hp a day for an anniversary pull?

I bought one ten-pack the day it opened. Don't have a good reason why ... all the 4* in there, I have champed. Like Harpua says, the limited characters are limited in their utility. So all I've opened since have been the tokens I earned (because it's a 6th anniversary vault, not a generic anniversary vault, or I'd save them in hopes of next year having a better selection)

I would if I was still playing. Last year I spent as much gold as I could on the Anniversary vault - as soon as I got the 2900 HP I reset it. I think I reset it like five times. It was mostly 100 HP Daily deals and progression tokens though, I started buying bigger packs towards the end.

No hesitation in buying the Devil Dino costume.

Really? It's about the cost of a vault 10-pack. You get a few tokens, but like YOU say, it's not like these Limited characters are ever useful outside of this week.

Yup...flies in the face of everything I said, but it's DD in his smoking jacket.

nbperp, what do you consider the top-end pulls from the anniversary vault?

Here is what I think they would be considered.
3 x FF Legendary token
6 x Devil Dino
3 x Taskmaster
3 x Howard
4 x Random 4*
10K ISO
2.9K HP

That's 21/100. Statistically speaking, spending the HP on a 10 pack will get you two of those.
It could get you more, but it could get you none, too.
The costume purchase gets you three, plus a couple of heroics. (One of mine got me a Sabretooth, btw.)
If I was weighing my options between that deal or a 10 pack, I'd probably go with that deal for the guarantee. (If the random 4*s had a guy I really needed, that would be a different story, perhaps.)

I'm just happy to get any **** cover to a character I already have. It's so rare for me, that each time it feels special. My Captain Marvel is up to level 188 at a 4/2/3 build! Yay!

Tied with nbperp on points in my PVE slice, but he got there first.
Looks like neither of us can get clear #5 on the Mock/Luke/Fist node.

Gritty is having a rough time with them. Am open to suggestions (I'm mostly in 4* land, so bear that in mind)


EDIT - NM: Just used Gritty to take clear 5 down!

Got #5 over lunch, too, with Gritty.

So Spiderman 2099 will have Jim Hammond Torch required for the essential.
I'm at 5 covers for him. I do not see me getting him getting finished in time for the event.
I could burn LL pulls trying to get him as a bonus, but I don't think it is worth it.
Of course, that sucks more because missing that cover makes it that much harder to have 2099 completed by the time he's required.

I was afraid they'd pick Torch. Now I'm definitely playing bracket lottery for a chance at some covers as mine is in poor position right now as well.

Maybe some BH luck will help things work out... but it's going to be a fight... which really stinks. This being the anniversary, they had a real chance not to screw over so many people.
