I may have shared this during a previous music thread, but regardless, this whole album was just great. That album (Prince of the Deep Water) saw some serious playtime and travel, and some damn fine women and romantic nights. ####, I got old and boring.
So I got the new JLU set Skygirl SR today in a trade...it's like 1/2 to 2/3 flippin scale of the other clix. It's like putting a 1/72nd scale P-51 in a diorama with a 1/48th scale Fw.190. WTF, Wizkids.
So here are my initial I songs, led off by the most enjoyable song you will EVER hear that includes the idea of suicide in the title: If You Don't Love Me, I'll Kill Myself by Pete Droge
The Dead South: In Hell I'll Be in Good Company Holy crap this video has 195 MILLION views, so maybe everybody here has heard it/seen it. Jeesh, that is just unbelievable to me. Was it on a soundtrack or something? I only heard it because it showed up on a recommended mix when I was listening to a bunch of bluegrass and outlaw country type stuff. Was I like the only one who didn't hear this song on the radio or TikTok or something? It's a great and creative song, but WTF.
this was not bad!
After seeing Slicktrickydick's Iggy Pop link just a minute before this, my brain immediately thought of Iggy Pop's Isolation. Just a coincidence of course, but Iggy Pop's is pretty awesome too, at least for his mainstream kinda phase.
