Being late to the party, the only "big" event I saw locally was the starro weekend, which had the largest # of players at 12-14 I think.

That was the weekend in which Tyler "grew up" and won two events. Roland and Tim also won one.

And someone went 0-4 against one guy, but 11-0 against everyone else.

But I'm not bitter about that Roland.

I'm tired of people nit-picking only on Unsung's theme events.

So here's my "nitpick/question". If a character has been both a hero and a villain, (pretty common), what team is he on? Is Az-bats a hero, villain or both???

What if I want to use Vic Doom as the "What if Doom became a hero" comic?? Which one do I use??

What if no one actually cared ???

This weekend's theme: Bring two teams, one made of Threats, one made of Menaces.

Now I ask you, which one does Spider-Man fit on?

I've always been pretty open when I've run this tournament in the past and given players leeway.

Now fortunatly, most characters that have been both good and evil have both versions printed thanks to REVs, and why this tourney is Unrestricted. Generally try to use the evil version on the villain team, and the good version on the hero team.

For characters that are evil, but have teamed up with heroes every now and again, and there are only "evil" versions printed; well then you just pick which version you want to play. Usually when players go that route, they build a comic accurate team from that storyarc and everyone else can identify it. This goes for characters that are good and went bad for a storyarc or two.

For characters that only have one printing (post AVG) and have been both good and evil, than you can freely use them on either team. Winter Soldier is a perfect example of this.

To answer your questions:
Azreal has 4 printings. R and believe E is Bat-Enemy and villains. V & LE is Bat Ally and hero.

Pick what Doom you want to use for that What If. Try to incorporate other chracters from that storyarc on that hero team.

I don't understand this question. Doom is ALWAYS the hero.

What would be better Siphon on Jinx and Persuader or Siphon and Swingline on Persuader?

Okay, so Sir Roland pointed out that Into the Speed Force is a last click SP that clicks you to death - I didn't know about the last click thing. But, doesn't anyone else like the mid dial:

Around the World in 80 Microseconds: The Two Flashes can use Flurry. Before each attack while using Flurry, you may place The Two Flashes adjacent to any opposing character on the map if their entire base is adjacent to the target character and in clear terrain.

You place him - just like Pip, right? No LOS apparently necessary. Two smack downs with 10 AV and Help From The Future: The Flashes can use probabilty control. Only two damage per attack, but if you take out those pesky support figs that probably can't do much against your 17 SS defense and prob, could be worthwhile. There are three clicks of this combo. Of course, he is too pricey for a 300 point build, but I'd try him in one of Jeff's mega-point games.

More importantly, my son is a big Flash fan (major disappointment), so I must get one for him. After all, he gave me Lamp Post Bats!

That was a waste of a few minutes.

Where are you getting your brick, and how much is it?

Plus...Where did you/will you buy it?

Ordered a case, but not given a specific date when it will arrive - will receive a call when it hits. Think I have a buyer for a set of the CUR to help bring down my cost. Will mail out ASAP for the two BIBTB figs.

Perhaps a venue price check is in order.
