Word of advice: never ever ask Rob Liefeld to sign your copy of New Mutants #98 (the 1st appearance of Deadpool.) He will get his panties in a twist over it.
Considering the way he "draws", isn't that how they normally appear on him?

Some people just make me shake my head and wonder what they're thinking. On the list for today is "I'll give you a low end LE and 3 commons for your $40 set of TMNT dice." Um, no.

I send out stupid offers from time to time because hey, it can't hurt, right? But then they are just stupid, not moronic.
That's right, you're a fan. May I trouble you to tell me what would be the first in his solo series? I searched Deadpool and so many different things came up I really don't know what's what. Thanks Pax.
PM me your address and I can send all of the Deadpool issues I have. I've been meaning to get rid of them. It's just... they're a terrible starting point.
I have no problem with the long-shot "can't hurt to ask" offers, but some of these are just completely ignorant.
And that's when you just shrug and move on.
I think my favorite offer was the guy who wanted my Bombastic Bag-Man and offered to trade me a FCBD Thor for it...

Yeah, that's a terrible offer. I usually kindy explain that their offer doesn't appeal to me and give my reasons why. Then I offer to consider more comparable counter-offer. They usually never reply, but I figure there's no sense in making enemies. I can't say it doesn't baffle me though.
Ohhh, I just remembered an even worse offer! It was so long ago I don't remember the exact details, but it was something like this:
"Hey, I have [low value figure], I can trade it for [high value figure 1] and then you can trade your [high value figure 2] for it!"
My response was "Get back to me when you have [high value figure 1] in hand and maybe we can discuss it then."

I love offers that include items the trader doesn't own. At least the last one of those offers I got only asked me to hold the figure for a day or two so they could see if the guy at their venue would sell them the SR Voodoo I wanted for a reasonable price so they could trade it to me. it worked out well, but the guy had the sense to not expect me to agree on something absed on a figure he didn't own.

There are offers of all types. The ones that get me are the blatantly one-sided offers from high rated traders. Ticked me off. Ignorance can be forgiven, blatant cheapskatery can not. I had an offer last summer, it was big so I price checked. Deal would have been 2 to 1 in the other guy's favor. I don't mind a little lopsided, but at that point he may as well just ask me for money.

There's one guy on here who consistently makes me offers like that. I have a feeling he's taken quite a few new traders for a ride, but there's not much I can do about it. Nor do I feel like getting involved in some drama filled smear campaign over it.
Truffs, the easiest way to get deadpool's story would be reading his biography on uncanny men.net. They do a wonderful job of going through convoluted back stories and make them sensical.

I think you and I are talking about the same guy. I've considered the smear campaign idea, but too much drama as you said. Not my job to protect new itraders, it's hard enough at my local venues.
