I think I might have some documentation for my employment there still, but if I do, it's in Oklahoma. I've checked my things here. I'll figure something out. I have to.
What about your income taxes? that should have a copy of your W-2 and other work related paperwork.

If it's a third party company doing the screening, I'd check directly with the hiring company's recruiting office. I did that after the screening company for esurance got fairly... invasive, and was able to clear up a lot of things with the HR department directly.
Personally, when a company I never heard of starts demanding my W-2s, it makes me more than a bit antsy.

The background company being used by my employer needs me to prove my employment with a company that no longer exists.
To be fair, background check companies are under a fair degree of scrutiny right now due to the Edward Snowden thing. Because when a high school dropout with an outrageously inflated resume is able to score a six-figure salary and a top-secret clearance, people are going to want to know how that happened.

They should have that information which is why this strikes me as odd.

I'm contacting my mom back in Oklahoma. She has all of that paperwork. Hopefully she can fax me a copy if needed. I don't think it should come to that, though.

I've contacted my employer about the issue to get things cleared up.
This whole situation is unusual given how long ago my employment was.
I never said it was.
I'd give it to her.
And she could have my ship, too.
Oh, I'd give it to Yo-Saf-Bridge all night long. LOL!!!!!

Is anybody watching Toy Hunter?
It's so horribly scripted and I can't for the life of me figure out why people would sell that guy their stuff for less than half of what they are worth instead of selling it themselves, but it is fun to see all of those toys.
