They should hold a giant contest ancient Aztec style with the biggest and best warriors, where the losers are sacrificed in the King's honor. I'm thinking Olympic decathlon merger with American gladiator style events that must involve tennis ball cannons for at least half the events. Then the winners must eat the losers and gfish must be one of the losers since JoH said he is food. (Yes, I know it's a typo but it gave me a hilarious idea and I'm running with it)
After the feast that revives the ancient Roman practice of vomitoriums, the remaining participants are split into two teams and must participate in the same events with the same results for the winners and losers. The process repeats until there is only participant left standing. That is because on his journey home, King Afterthought watched the Highlander movies and decided to retire. So he knew there could be only one and decided that person must be worthy on many fronts.
Thus, after the games, King Afterthought abdicates his position to the winner and is never heard from again. In reality, he chooses to:

Retreat into his Roman bath and die peacefully after cutting his wrists. This is because IR watched the season 4 finale of Vikings last night and that's what King Ecbert did after renouncing his kingship and then signing over English lands to the Vikings even though he had no power to do so. One of my favorite characters and I'm sad to see him go.

That's fair. He happens to be my top choice as well. But I find taking a global view of the ramifications of his lynch to be necessary. Plus, I never fully trust you. I was starting to in the Syndicate crossover and we see how that turned out.

The Umbrella were quite fond of their king, and they are also cybernetics enthusiasts, so it should be a Wheel of Prosthetics Festival! The wheel will be spun by King Afterthought himself - everybody contributes a bake sale item to the general feast in order to earn a ticket for a spin, to decide which sort of artificial enhancement they will win. Could it be a laser arm? Could it be pogo legs? Could it be Rocket Punch Fists? Could it be an EZ Bake Oven installed in the torso? Could it be a Sensual Vibration Unit? Or maybe a waste-hole vaporizer eliminating the need for toilets, complete with auto-air-freshening? Rocket skate feet for the kids? You just never know at the WOPF, and that's what makes it fun! And don't forget to wear green and brown! Earth colors to keep grounded in humanity while cyborgin' it up!
So general impressions, hopefully I'll get time to do a proper rainbow before the thread closes:
I_R's reaction to Jack reads pretty normal (not alignment-indicative) to me. Will have to reexamine the rest of his posting.
Like Linkor's posting, he's contributing and offering opinions.
Roy is behaving like fairly townie Roy, so I'm fine with him.
Rokk pings me a little but I wonder if that's not just because he's playing typical Rokk story-heavy game while being absent the past couple games. Not interested in pressuring/lynching him at this time.
Fine with Jack, there's a possibility Lamplighter is an NPC he's using for cover but last night's writeup pretty much puts paid to that for me.
Agree with raven re: DBoy. Yes, we know you don't think you have any idea what's going on, but repeatedly emphasizing that comes across as playing a role. Plus it doesn't help town (in this game) and doesn't help you get better (For future games). So let's see some thoughts! Don't worry if they're good or not, correct or not, etc. Just throw em out there.
If GFish and I are both town aligned, it is not good for me to get him lynched. GFish is food at getting participation out of players, something I need to do my job.

You copped him as scum and you don't believe his MD claim but you're not 100%? Why is that? What is your percentage of certainty?
Some folks say Gfish calling MD before Jack called cop gives credence to Gfish, but Jack came out the gate swinging at Gfish, so it wouldn't be hard for Gfish to presume Jack had something on him and try a preemptive MD claim.
Not much time left before I leave for work (and will be unavailable).
I won't be around for the next 8 hours or so. Going to leave my vote with someone sensual who hasn't voted so far in today's phase:
Leave vote with Rokk_Krinn
Aside from agreeing with Rokk's sensualness...I really don't like this.
I don't like vote leaving in general, it just seems doubly reckless in plurality. If you're not going to be here, just throw down on your best read at the moment.
On top of that you leave it with Rokk, who could be sensibly bad. Rokk could be sensibly good as well, but it puts him in a bad situation also, with votes mattering more in this situation. Semantically you also never said anything alignment indicative about Rokk, maybe you read him town and assume everyone else has him as a town read so didn't feel the need to.
While an 8 day revel will be planned for the commoners, the King and his loyal subjects will keep it low key. Helotham Hold'em - no limit. Lantan's finest cigar's. 40 year old whiskey from the Loch. And of course Askanese Wings with sauce made from the hottest peppers in Moorscape.
After the hangover subsides, the King will get to the business of taking out the Rat who replaced him.

And that's what I've been trying to say. Jack left it vague so gfish may have read it correctly and did the pre-emptive. The big thing here is that they were after each other yesterday. So it's entirely plausible that Jack came out swinging with an vague, inventor-style claim based solely on a read of gfish and no power interactions. There are many angles to consider and JoH to his credit set it up to operate from a place of strength almost regardless of what gfish said.
I don't think gfish did himself any favors with his full claim. It seems like he skipped some levels by trying the big trump card in claiming as opposed to dickering back and forth.
Right now my only hang-up with Jack, is that he's claiming inventor again. Alignments don't always change when bringing back a character, but in my experience, powers always do.
Jack is either Lamplighter or Lamplighter is a fake claim given to the mafia. If gfish autopsies as town, Jack looks very bad to me. Not enough for immediate lynch, but he loses his plot armor.

Cause I tend to get misdirected a lot, GFish claimed to suspect me yesterday and claimed to misdirect me last night and Lamplighter isn't exactly a Richards/Batman combo. Plus I'm not great at reading GFish. I'd put my certainty at 70-80%.
Agreed with your second paragraph but I kept that inside to let others say they thought so or not. GFish claimed to misdirect me, said he thought I dragged him, then I claimed to have copped him. He clearly was under the impression I targeted him last night before he claimed to have misdirected me so I don't see his "early" claim giving him any cred.
Alright. Back from watching Guardians of the Galaxy. Weird movie.
Agree with suspicion on Immortal_Raven. Anyone defending me is bad because they know I'll turn town and want to look town in light of that. Vague suspicion on DestructoBoy for knowing offhand that Hawk had been used before.
Could just have Ctrl+F'd it in the Hybridity Home page. It's simple research and available to anyone. Secondly, he contributed, and something valid, should be encouraging that from him. The effort makes him read him as good, how he got the info isn't alignment indicative.

1. Folks spouting that I am avoiding the question don't repeated the question because it's not great. I vote on Jack because I did not believe that he was Lamplighter or anything lack that last pass. I targeted him too. I now believe he is town and genuine.
2. I didn't like his answers to my questions. I thought they were a little too engineered to make him look like a proactive town member without saying anything. They we're very self serving. I think a town Jack is usually less self aware about that sorry of thing.
The question was stated multiple times. It's a valid question. If you didn't think Jack was Lamplighter, why did you not think he was? If you thought he was Lamplighter but still mafia or another negative faction why? You still really haven't answered any of them. You didn't like a lot of people's responses to those silly questions, but you picked Jack over all of them knowing there was a strong possibility that at the very least Jack was Lamplighter. So...why pick Jack over those other players?

3. It's Hank type of Hawk to my knowledge. I didn't research well enough when I submitted the role. I just wanted a nice foil to Cloak and Dagger. C'est Lovies I guess. Since the mafia had falls claims, that should clear me from coming up with a bad one. It should not factor in.
Bull crap it does, you're saying you just forgot that you had to pick a suboptimal pick to get the pairing you wanted and then you just sloppily claimed without explaining? Here's the issue, no one would be talking about the claim and wasting our time chasing our tails about it if you'd have said the Hawk, the other one, and just posted one extra sentence.
Mafia having fake claims has literally nothing to do with it in my mind and you're just using Bob's logic as your own defense.

4. The point of me not posting was to get people's reactions and thoughts. I think that is sufficiently achieved.

5. JoH royally screwed this phase up, because now you get no benefit to Plurality voting. It would have been better to drop that bomb near the end of the phase to see who jumps over off of other people's lynches, who self justify, and who try to defend. Now you just have everyone pulling in and an inquiries to do multiple voting targets or talk about anything else. JoH, you should be cursing yourself repeatedly.
lol what? First off he's supposed to do it at 3 o'clock in the afternoon when the majority of people aren't even available to react to it, instead of getting the maximum possible reaction out of posting it? It's dominating the phase because it's literally the best piece of information we have. On top of that it completely screws the defender. Part of the process is hearing their defense, if he waits late in the phase it almost looks as if doesn't want a response just a lynch. Either way, you don't really learn anything, you follow the cop when he first catches scum, there's nothing to be gleaned by seeing who switches to the guy who was copped as mafia and even less from seeing who doesn't because of availability issues.
All that said, something that has been completely overlooked and I've been waiting for it to be brought up is the obvious dead man's gambit you've got but have declined to use. The fact that we're at this point in the pressure and it's a non-issue just feels like you're lying about the entire claim.
Right now my only hang-up with Jack, is that he's claiming inventor again. Alignments don't always change when bringing back a character, but in my experience, powers always do.

I think it's interesting that everyone is saying things like "If gfish turns up town, then blah blah blah etc..." as if it's crystal clear what town is. Hell, Stranger openly admitted that alignments were mostly for flavor on the front page! Who are we to claim we know who's who this early?
