Day 5:

The group smelled blood in the water, literally. The confident man tried to adjust his shades, but they'd been broken beyond repair. As he cast them aside, everyone surrounded him. He cracked his knuckles and motioned at them. "Bring it." "It's arready been broughten, Mr. Rook how coor I am in my sungrasses." What followed wasn't pretty. viciousbuddha is dead. He was Chris. Night 5:

All the puppets gathered where it all started. As they circled around the fountain, one muttered. "We're not gonna get any sleep tonight anyway so we might as well end this. One of the group looked up at a man on a horse while explaining how the world has suffered due to America's meddling in the gumndrop fairytales of others.

Meanwhile another of the group massaged the fat man's ego. "Ooooh fank you. I didn't rerarize I was so roved by you and your F.A.G. members. Now I don't feer so ronery. I fink I'm gonna go kick some ### now."

The gray haired man approached the hot dog toting man. "I know you've been investigating me. I know you plan on taking me out, and I'm here to tell you that if I go down, you're coming with me." The gray haired man pulled a pistol from his jacket pocket and pointed it at the hot dog toting man. But before he could pull the trigger, he was tackled to the ground. "And THAT's for not taking me seriously as an actions star!"

As the gray haired man began to pick himself up off the ground, he noticed that he couldn't feel his legs. As he looked up he saw the fat man standing over him with a pair of garden shears. "Yeah, you can suck my barrs, you wrinkry ord bastard!" *snip* The gray haired man's arms went numb. *snip* He laid motionless on the ground, unable to move as the fat man sunk the shears into his skull. charlesx is dead. He was Spottswoode and I.N.T.E.L.L.I.G.E.N.C.E. Alignment: Team America.

The fat man then moved on to the man on the horse, still occupied by the inane story of his F.A.G. cohort. The fat man cracked the horse in the face with an ornate cane, sending it reeling. As the horse stumbled, it's rider fell off. Taking another blow to the head, the horse toppled on top of his rider. The fat man pressed a button on his cane and a blade unsheathed from the tip of it. With two quick swiped, the horse's throat was slit and he gurgled as his life slipped away. Underneath him, his rider gasped for air. "I rove it. You go from praying everyone's favorite hero to being herpress after a tragic horseback riding accident. Don't fink I don't see the pararrers. Consider yourserf Superman no more, Mr. Reeve." The fat man laughed as the man gasped for his last breath of air. Cornucopia is dead. He was Woody and Bullseye. Alignment: F.A.G.

Town:

Michael Moore - tracker - You are the famed film maker responsible for countless documentaries. Your love for documentaries almost rivals your love for hot dogs. Choose a target each night to track. You'll get the inside scoop on them (find out who they targeted) and expose them for who they really are (frame whoever you track). Alec Baldwin - double voter & encourager - You are the leader and most eloquent of the Film Actors Guild, which is kind of sad if you think about it. Each night you will chose another player whose action you would like to double. That player will be able to take two actions that evening. You may not encourage the same person twice. During the day phase, your votes will count double. If at any point you would like to appoint a new leader to the Guild, you may pm me at night (in addition to your normal night action) and grant that player with a double vote instead of yourself. Doing so will make you unkillable for that night phase. This switch will last for the rest of the game. Alignment: F.A.G. Win Condition: You win when all threats to your faction have been eliminated. Sean Penn - 50/50 misd/RB - Dead Man Walking should have been renamed Brain Dead Man Walking as soon as you were cast as the lead. You're just another ignorant political activist who thinks Iraq was a peaceful place before the US invaded it. Choose a player each night to confuse beyond belief. You will have a 50% chance of roleblocking or misdirecting that player. You will be informed which has occurred after you've sent in your target, and once you've been informed you may not switch your target. Alignment: F.A.G. Win Condition: You win when all threats to your faction have been eliminated. (Wade Wilson)

George Clooney - doctor - You are the Guild's resident tough guy. After all, you've done actions films. Choose a player to protect each night. You will foil any attempts on that player's life during that phase. Being tough and all, you will survive the first attempt on your own life at night. This only works on mafia kills. Matt Damon - cop - You are the 24” marionette representation of the actor Matt Damon from the movie Team America: World Police. Just like in the movie, you can only post the two word phrase “Matt Damon” in its entirety. You may use punctuation, but NO emoticons. You can use upper or lower case letters or any combination of the two. You can vote as normal. You must post your phrase at least 5 times a day phase. Each night you may choose a player to investigate. You will be informed of that player's alignment. Alignment: F.A.G. Win Condition: You win when all threats to your faction have been eliminated. Danny Glover - Jailkeep - You don't know why you joined this group of nutcases in the first place. Even worse is having to constantly endure that idiot who isn't smart enough to say anything more than his own name. To sum it up, you're "getting too old for this carp." Choose a player each night to lock up with your fake hand cuffs. That player will be roleblocked as well as being immune to night kills. Alignment: F.A.G. Kim Jong-il - Vigilante - You are the infamous leader of North Korea. You're "the smartest, most crever, most physicarry fit, but nobody erse seems to reararise it." Choose a player each night to throw into your shark tank. They will die a gruesome death. "I'm So Ronery" - In addition to your normal night action, you may choose one player to mason with. If you target a threat to the town with this ability, you will die. Alignment: F.A.G. Win Condition: You win when all threats to your faction have been eliminated. (Aegon Targaryen)

Woody & Bullseye - Bus Driver - You are the famous cowboy and his horse from the show Woody's Round Up (from the movie Toy Story 2). Choose two players each night (A & B). Edward Scissor Hands - Serial Killer - You are the pale creepy goth dude who has scissors for fingers. No one has a clue how you pick your nose, wipe your butt or scratch your ear, but boy can you cut a rug. *rimshot and canned laughter* Anyhow, seeing as you'll only ever be good at things that involve cutting, you MUST choose a player each night whose strings you'd like to cut. This will render them "dead" and remove them from the game. Alignment: Neutral Win Condition: You win when you are the only player remaining. (fullmetalfreak94)

Gary Johnston - guide - You are the Broadway actor with college majors in Theater and World Languages who was recruited to help Team America take down Kim Jong-il and all his F.A.G. buddies. Choose a player each night to guide. You will prevent them from being misdirected or roleblocked. Once per game in place of your normal night ability, you may puke on yourself making you untargetable for the night. Once per game, you may end day phase by typing "*gives the signal*" in bold in the thread. Alignment: Neutral Win Condition: You win when all threats to the mafia are eliminated. (Status)

Randy - You are the red-headed bully from Pee Wee's Playhouse. You get your jollies from making other people feel stupid. Choose two players each night. You will force them to target each other. Alignment: Neutral Win Condition: You win when all threats to the town are eliminated. (DocDoom187)


Matt and Trey - You are the creators of this entire messed up world populated by puppets. And now that things have gone terribly wrong, you're here to make sure that it remains disasterously funny. Each night, you may write a short excerpt that will be placed in the write-up. Your main goal here is just to mess with people. Alignment: Neutral Win Condition: You win if you are alive at the end of the game and there are less than 5 players remaining (including yourself). (KO Bossy)

Lisa - doctor - You are a young psychologist who recently lost her one true love in Carson. He died in your arms on a mission gone wrong. But even though your heart is broken, there's something about Gary you can't deny. Choose a player to protect each night. They will be unable to be night killed. (VenomDaBomb)

Sarah & Joe - tracker/misd - You are an alleged psychic & a typical all-American jock who is in love with an alleged psychic. Choose a player to misdirect each night. You will randomize their target and then find out the who they originally intended to target (not their actual target). Once per game, in place of your normal night ability, you may target a player and roleblock them. (Anonym0use)

Spottswoode & I.N.T.E.L.L.I.G.E.N.C.E - MC/Clue cop - You are a United States government agent & a highly-advanced supercomputer. Each night you may either choose a player to investigate to find a clue about their identity. Or you may choose two players (A & B), and force Player A to target Player B. You may not mind control the same player twice. If investigated by a cop, you will appear town until there are 8 or less players remaining. (charlesx)

That's for sure. The mafia was pretty much decimated, especially now that I see that the enhancer gained night kill immunity after transferring the double voter power to another player. Interesting turn of events, but in the end I really was painted into a corner with nowhere to turn.

Great game Stan! I had fun. Sucks that I died at the end, but I think this is the farthest I've made it in a game. Almost a win.

Darq & Aegon - Great teamwork! I would've never guessed that the two of you were masoned.

That immunity was a one night only thing, and he had to forfeit his double vote to get it (which he never did). Plus, he had the chance of giving a double vote to a non-townie if he didn't choose wisely.

I think the mafia got hosed early because the SK died and because you guys telegraphed your alliance a bit. Look back. There were a couple times you all voted in a block. Maybe it's just easier to see when you know who is who though. *shrug*

Add that to good luck on the town's part and bad luck on the mafia's part and this game was a lock.

Overall, I think the game was balanced, but you'd never know it by reading through.

Ok so Night 3:

The mafia Mind Controls Aegon to kill Darq. Corn bus drives Crusader & VDB so when Wade tries to misdirect VDB, he misdirects Crusader who's been doubled by get_1. Crusader initially intended to target Darq & Corn for doctoring, but when I roll the die, Darq randomizes to Wade and Corn randomizes to Darq, saving Darq from the kill. It was a train wreck of a night for actions and carp, but that one in a million chance happened. Insane.

Thoughts on balance and hidden triggers?
