The guy who complains about hot dogs eats at Subway?
Completely understandable. Hot dogs are sacred food to us Chicagoans. Must be eaten the right way.
Hoggies/Grinders/Subs/Heros are actually an east coast derived food. Therefore as a Chicagoan we have zero quirks about eating bad versions of their food as even the good versions of their food is already inferior to our food.

Kidding! I was cheering for your 'Hawks last night!
okay, now that we've gotten our funny stuff out, let me specify by saying that it's going to be dinner for four as it is Wednesday and that is the night that my Mother in law and Brother in law come over for family game night. So, think dinner for four/something fairly easy to make.

Here is a great recipe that I know you know how to make based off of past conversations:
1) Pick up phone.
2) Call Papa Johns and order a pizza.
3) Pay the $2 extra delivery charge for the delivery guy to walk 100 yards since you didn't want to walk across the parking lot to pick it up yourself.
See, easy to make and it feeds 4 people well. Your welcome.
I still get a laugh every time I think of your wife telling me that story.
ewww. Let me also put in the ring the fact that I'm a super picky jackass that usually ruins it for everybody because I don't like a lot of stuff.
Yeah, I've come to believe that his 4 food groups are meat (preferably in patty or sausage form), cheese, bread/buns, & cottage cheese.
And yes, it is important to note that cheese and cottage cheese both need to be listed as seperate categories based solely on the fact that one goes on a bun and the other doesn't.
Ingredients
1 strip bacon
2 onions, medium dice
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 1/2 pounds stewing beef, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 garlic clove
Pinch caraway seeds
2 tablespoons good quality sweet paprika (see cook's note)
2 cups warm water
2 cubes beef bouillon
2 whole canned tomatoes, chopped
1 green bell pepper
4 or 5 potatoes
2 tablespoons sour cream
Come on... that sounds awesome! Throw some egg noodles in there to make it stretch. I wish I was eating that right now!
And if you can't handle the healthy stuff, cut down on the tomato and green peppers. You'd be doing the dish a disservice, but it would still taste yummy.
