Why are all the debates vs the tournament rules straw arguments?
As I said over in yon Ogre thread, I remain unconvinced of the existence of roving gangs of army sheet-stealing bandits. (Although after I posted that, there was at least one offer to start such a gang.)
And the OP of that thread is mostly recognized by me as one of the guys that was trying to troll the rules deputies after his buddy Questions got banned, so I admittedly take anything he says with a grain of salt.

Yep. And apparently Norm is pimping him out while he's there.

Well, it's only bad if she was laughing at you.

The question is will Smudge or Muncho have to shave their heads? This would hurt Muncho, as we have determined he has the best head of hair in the LPC.
Eh, not too worried. I've been told that my beard is a beard's beard.
Y'know, like "a man's man".

It doesn't but there is an option to toggle on/off volunteers. I'm wondering if there will be more to that option since I primarily handle all Clix event scheduling for the shop. Right now, I'm able to log in courtesy of my venue owner providing me with his UserID and password. Will there be different stuff for us volunteers to input once that portion is running, etc?
On the right of the screen below you will notice a space for you to enter any House Rules your Venue and local community enjoys. Once you’ve entered your House Rules here, they will remain visible on every event you create and will not change unless you (or your approved Volunteer) edit them.
Speaking of Volunteers, below the House Rules area you will see a prompt labelled “Allow Volunteers to Sign Up?”. This is set to “Yes” as a default but you can change this at any time (for example after you’ve found a volunteer to run your events).
I've further highlighted what I think is relevant to your question.
So, short answer? Yes. Long answer? Yes; Volunteers can actually input event information and schedule events on behalf of their associated Venues. Volunteers will not be able to do anything to their associated Venue's account (alter address, contact info, etc...)

Certain threads are making me want to bang my head against a wall. I might just decide to take a break from the realms for the rest of the day.
If you're referring to the Banner/Pulse Wave thread in Rules of Combat, I agree. Some of those guys have locked themselves into reading the power description in such a way that they can't even begin to consider a different viewpoint (different meaning correct ).
I love statements like:

guess the main man needs to make a ruling on this matter
even after all 3 deputies have weighed in, and:

I too do not agree with the ruling, but realize it will now take a GD to clarify.
as if GD spent time during the day trolling our rules threads just in case something like this happens.
What a bunch of maroons.
