I played heroclix today! At the Stadium- Streets' venue across town. I pulled a Proselyte and a couple of the UCs I needed. I surprised the fairly competitive crowd there by actually playing it as a full dial character instead of a 25 pt. possessor. I went 1-2, but had a close game in my first loss. My second loss was a total ass whipping. I lost to an entity possessed GL team with a full GL power battery. That Laira Prime GL was the possessed figure and it just destroyed.

After games resolved and prizes awarded (I got an Atrocitis even though I was 6th), and afterwards traded Proselyte for:

Superboy Prime Red lantern
Groot SR from GotG
Rocket Red SR GotG
Impossible Man Con LE

Plus I made a bunch of smaller trades and came out with 4 pieces from Deadpool, WOL and GotG movie set that I needed. not bad for $25 entry fee

What entity was she possessed by? We're supposed to have out WoL next weekend but it's the same weekend as Magic Pre release so it has to be pushed back a week.

The Red Lantern one that looks like a demon bison. I called him "Debison" during the game, but have no idea what he is called. He looks freaking awesome though.

The Laira prime GL ended up with 3 constructs and the entity and was just wreaking havoc. Plus I rolled 3's and 4's all the fracking time, while my opponent hit 4 out of 5 shape changes during the game. It was a brutal, ugly game

Played more clix this afternoon. Got my assets handed to me in one game, largley due to doggedly trying to break away seven or eight times and failing. I pulled out a win in the second game thanks to Gorr's godbomb.

Aw, man. That's just nasty.

What are the rarity of chases for WoL?

1 per brick, though I am not sure if there is ever any variation in this. I have seen at least 1 brick that had a prime and a chase, at least if the guy who opened them was squared away.

Did being more full of Jesus give you superpowers?

Briefly. But don't worry, Jesus is the original vampire, so I won't harm you.

Today is the culmination of the ####-storm that started at work on 6/21 when a customer when live on a very very broken piece of software. They - after many fixes - are trying again today. It will either be peaceful and I will get to play X-wing tonight, or it will be hell and I will be here all the hours...
