I observe a player at night to learn their power. Night 1, I observed MSU and learned he was a mason-maker. On Night 2, I tried to use that power to mason with MSU but my action failed. It also resulted in me losing the power, which frustrated me. I posted my frustrations about it because I basically spent two nights to get nowhere (other than learning MSU was likely town). Night 3, I tried to target Darq to observe him, but we all learned what happened there. I targeted Darq again last night, and that's when I learned he used a kill power.

His claim of being a mason-maker is also false, since that's what MSU's power was.

The reason I backed off is that MSU masoned with me last night. He listed his previous enengagements and Darq was one. He also vouched fairly strongly for Darq. Since he turned up town, I needed extra convincing which you have done.

There was a chance that Darq was the vig, so I tried to play as coyly as possible, but then Rorsch outed himself as the vig and Darq claimed to be a female. Also, the people who were turning a blind eye to Darq's refusal to claim should be looked into as well.
