Got "Our Idiot Brother" in the mail via Netflix the other day. Quite funny. I liked the message of the movie. The main character (Paul Rudd) was the one constant in the whole movie. His entire family has blamed him for everything that goes wrong in their own lives yet he is an extremely likeable and usually happy guy despite all that life throws at him. He is what many would call a "Loser" but despite his short comings and his family life, he has found what can be described as happiness and fullfillment.

I watched Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence and Sky Crawlers that are both directed by Oshii who also directed first GitS movie.

Just finished DVD New Years....it was ok, kinda slow, and as with most comedies that I've watched for couple years now, they just don't deliver. In my opinion the newer comedies just aren't near as funny as the older ones.

Watched "Puss in Boots" with the Wife the other night. It wasn't great. It was okay, but it seemed to be missing something. I'd probably give it 3/5 stars, but it just wasn't something that really held our interest. Probably better for it's target audience.

Rewatched Tron: Legacy tonight. Still enjoy the sound of it and can be amused by the simplistic story.

Just a darn nice blu ray with sound to back it up.

Finally watched Fincher's "Girl with The Dragon Tatoo".

Damn is he a good director.

Although, much like most films, this one suffered from "AlanAlda-itis" as I like to refer to it. Dang shame, from just looking at the cast.

Saw Queen of Versailles and it was pretty depressing, but in an odd way.

Also re-watched Star Trek VI and it was all right.

Just watched the re-make of Total Recall.....do yourselves a favor, wait for the DVD, which shouldn't take very long, and even then if it's a toss-up between that and another DVD....take the other. Sadly dissappointing all the way around.

Just watched 21 Jump Street. Really a funny movie.

Watched the new Fright Night.

Colin Ferrel is truly menacing. Everyone else does a good job selling the situation. Really fun movie.

Watched Sixty Six on Insta Queue, its about a British boy who has his Bar mitzvah on the day England wins the world cup.

Decent little movie, nothing great, but had heart and stuff.

Jeff, Who Lives at Home was enjoyable. It did not break ground, but still had nice character arcs and solid acting.

Just got that one in from Netflix. Will probably be watching it tomorrow morning.

Watched Four Rooms. It was a strange, amusing film.

Somehow for kids and totally not for kids. In many of the ways that Coraline shared those qualities.

Did look really impressive at several points.
