Do you guys know if Wizkids will be releasing a Superman poster for this set? Because, you know, it sure would be nice to have some advertisement material in the store. It just drives me nuts because in the "How to grow your venue" thread, Ziran mentioned how you should mimic what the Magic people do. Well, I spoke with the Magic people, and I think Ziran and the Wizkids marketing team must be smoking something. The turnout for Magic at our venue is 20+ at least 2x a week. They have lots of posters and marketing material hanging up in the store, but beyond that, the Magic people do nothing to grow it. Essentially, Magic is self-supporting at this point.

I know he mentioned you should have a "heroclix guy," and for all intents and purposes, I'm that guy at our venue. I'm tremendously positive and I bust my butt to spread the good word. I teach people, I give away clix, and do all sorts of special events to get new people in, but it's nothing like Magic. You can't have "the heroclix guy" in the store 24/7 like you can slick marketing material. What do you think?

The regular dice are 16mm. The annoyingly small Fast Forces dice are 12mm. Just for one more reference, precision casino dice are 19mm.

That's...embarrassing. Kelly Kelly is such a frigging terrible wrestler, it looks so unbelievably fake when she's in the ring. And what's worse is that Buffalo is Beth's home town, so logically (duh) you'd think she'd get the win, but no, the WWE manages to screw the pooch once more.

I'm surprised you actually ordered the PPV. All the steam has disappeared from the Punk/Triple H angle, to the point where I almost don't even care anymore about it because they've messed things up so badly. They were really counting on Kevin Nash being healthy enough to wrestle, and their gamble bit them in the ###. I'm just praying to God that they put Del Rio over Cena and don't try to cop out and put the belt back on him, because that'd be just horrendous.

I've been asking, often times from Ziran himself, for this exact kind of promotional material for over a year now. I have had Instant Message conversations with the man, on the topic of how to grow Clix. At one point he even mentioned having people write articles on the topic. He asked if I personally would be available to "go on tour" to help promote these kinds of ideas, because he was apparently impressed with my take on things.

But nothing ever happens. I have a large format printer at my disposal. I can print the posters myself. All I need is the high res .pdf to work from, and I can't even get them to make that available to the general public. They have many many people like you and I at their disposal to be their "Heroclix guys" but they just can't seem to get things together on their end.

Frankly I think they are spread too thin. To make Heroclix into what it has become in the last two years, they've worked with a skeleton crew in order to keep costs down and profits high, and while I can appreciate that, since it has obviously been an effective way to make the brand work, I think they need a dedicated PR guy. Someone who's job it is to talk to the people. To groom future "Heroclix guys" so that they are as equally successful on Heroclix 20th Anniversary as they are looking to be on their 10th.

I'm actually hoping that WWE doesn't go with the obvious move and have Nash cost Punk the match. I think it would be more interesting if they had Nash interfere and cost HHH the match or atleast have Punk GTS him and then go on and finish the match.
