Whelp, nobody got it. As White Queen, she was supposed to be non-Metahuman. However, she had injected nanobots in order to control OMACS (I think) and was technically metahuman as a result.
He had a membership card, so he counts as a Leaguer, and is also the correct answer! The Blasters were humans kidnapped by the Dominators during the Invasion! Their metagenes were activated after being blasted by the Dominators and the team escaped and fled in to space!
Your thread.
Justice for Jimmy Olsen!! Superman's Pal needs to be clixed!
I thought the period for DC Comics was pretty bright in general. I loved the Invasion! crossover. It was still in the period immediately post-crisis when DC was doing a good job of interconnecting the continuity of the different books and only having an occasional big crossover. The Alien Alliance were a natural fit for a big event crossover. Unfortunately, Blasters was a small blemish on that. It could have been cool, I think but DC didn't really do anything with them. Like the New Guardians out of Millenium and the New Blood out of Bloodlines, they introduced a team of characters that quickly faded in to obscurity.

Nuadha- I did enjoy Invasion. I think it was the best of the big crossover events of the late 80's-early 90's actually, but still, there was a lot lacking in DC Comics (and comics in general) in that window of time.
Okay, this question may have been asked before, but here goes...
What character was created by DC Comics years before Marvel's Sentry that shares a remarkable symmetry with said Sentry?
Very powerful, interacted with all the movers and shakers of the universe, was a member of the JLA, but was forgotten entirely by the world and its people due to a necessary sacrifice, but coming back years later, he returns to prominence.
His good intentions soon start turning sour and he ends up being a dire threat to the DC Universe.
Triumph ended up a threat during a Morrison JLA storyline if I remember correctly. He was upset over everyone forgetting about his JL and got some sort of power to try and make it so they were the real league. Did he use a 5th Dimensional being or was it Neron? I can't remember. Either way, I'm guessing you are referring to Triumph.

Correct, and JTR knew it also, though once again skirted around the answer. Triumph indeed was the Sentry like guy, and you remembered correctly. He aligned himself with a bad imp/ lightning bolt kinda dude and caused world threatening drama. then Spectre put him on ice.

the thread is yours...
And Neron also had something to do with Triumph. Triumph was to light a candle, giving his soul to Neron and in exchange, Triumph would regain the years he lost.
But Triumph didn't light it. Someone else lit it by accident. Triumph was then turned into a dog with nothing nice to say about anyone.
I think JTR is skirting answering the questions so he doesn't have to come up with a new question.
Here is mine:
In Sandman #1 by Neil Gaiman, it was revealed that Morpheus (aka Dream) was responsible for inspiring Wesley Dodd (The Golden Age Sandman) to become a hero. Which hero was Despair partially responsible for the origin of? As a bonus: Who did she convince to set up the events that would lead to this hero?
