"You dare too much, father," Thanos says to Mentor, "And failed. Perhaps your heart wasn't in it. Mine, however, is fully invested." His blast is devastating and, for Mentor, final.

"No one shall oppose me," Thanos says, "Our quest to save the world so that we may destroy it goes as planned, my love."

"Ummmm....so he can destroy it? What have we gotten ourselves into?" Doc Samson asks.

I'm probably throwing her to her death, but I'm bringing in Grail. Blackout first Perplexes her AV to 12. She'll teleport to K11. High Evolutionary Perplexes her Damage to 4, then he gets to roll for two more CVs boosts. Rolls 3 and 5, Attack and Damage again. Couldn't ask for better.

She will Charge to L14 to attack Thanos. AV11 +2 on DV18 +1. Also 300 point rule is triggered. Gest 3,3,5 for 8. Thanos won't let that stand. Reroll is 5,6,5. 3 +2, -2 for Invincible is 3 to Thanos.

Grasping at straws here, but Skreet's AV is 10. You Perplexed Grail's DV to 16, but she should still get a Hindering bonus when Skreet shoots at her to make it 17. So I'm thinking the roll of 6 should miss? Not sure if that was all your PC by that point.

I suppose that's a fair point. And I've no remaining pc.

Without her ko then Thanos is forced to attack Grail instead. Needs 5 and to hit, rolls 9. Imperv is 3. Kos her. He sides to block.

I hate the cycle of constantly having to throw guys at you to try to hurt your big bads, only to see them chewed up and spit out. At least Grail accomplished something.

However, as much as I hate it, I'm going to do it again and hope it works.

Blackout Perplexes Wolverine's AV to 11

Evolutionary makes it 12, then rolls for his special Perplex. Rolls 2 and 3, Speed and Attack +1. So a total of +3 AV to Wolverine. Who Sidesteps to the teleporter, then Teleports to K15 to attack Thanos. AV13 on DV18. Gets 3 Dice, rolls 1, 6, 4 for a 10. Thanos Rerolls. 6,6,2 for a Crit, but Wanda's there too. 6,3,2 for a 9 and still a hit for 3 with Exploit.

Let me do it this way. Mercury TKs Thunderstrike to L11, that's a push to KO himself.

Means I need a new TKer and Astronomer will be it.

I have one more replacement too, who will be a Freebie now as I've broken the 100 point mark. I'll take Crazy Quilt, who will choose Yellow, any of your guys showing yellow gets -1DV

Okay so I've hedged my bets as much as I can. Thunderstrike Sidesteps to L13, CCE on Thanos, AV10 on DV17 -1. Gets 8. 3 to Thanos after Invulnerable is going to be a KO.

"I can help with that," the Astronomer said, and in a wink, Wolverine and Thunderstrike appeared next to Thanos.

Meanwhile Crazy Quilt also appeared and dazzled Thanos with the flashing lights from his costume. The Mad Titan wasn't fully hypnotized, but his reactions were slowed just enough.

"What the...?" Thunderstrike asked.

"Don't ask. Gift horse. Mouth. Don't be looking there." Wolverine told him and he ravaged Thanos with his claws, widening the wounds that Grail has started.

Thunderstrike just shrugged and hit Thanos with a namesake attack that brought the Titan low.

Thanos isn't a favorite but he fell far too fast for my tastes.

Here's a guy I thought I'd play. Apparently not. In comes Man-Ape. Voyager makes his dv 19. Panther outwits Wolverine's cr.

Man-Ape ports to K16. Needs 5 to ko him, rolls 5.

Tusk to break? 6. Pushes to block, koing himself.

I don't want to do this but I'll push Skreet on Thunderstrike. Needs 6, rolls 10. Kos him.
