When John Byrne revamped Superman, he madea list of "unreasonable demands" (his own words) that would need to be met if he would be willing to take over the character. Stuff like altering Krypton, how his powers worked, etc. He thought they'd never go for it, but they only said no to one change. What was it?

Just taking a shot in the dark as to what I would call unreasonable demands were I taking over Superman, so........

He was raised in Metropolis instead of Smallville?

He could no longer fly?
